Ok, I have the first two days done, finally!!!

Link: Click here to see the DVC SS Member Cruise Scrapbook!!

It's taken me a while, as I wrote it all out as a text journal first, then I am adding in the html with all the pictures and scanned items. It's been a learning process, but it's getting streamlined. I should make better progress with the other 3 pages worth, I hope!!

note- Click any of the small pictures in it for a much larger one.
(I've since added such a note to the first page)

Looking good Mark - it was so nice to meet you and Mary - you both gave John and myself a lot of insight on what to do and see on the cruise and that made it a lot of fun for both of us! Reading your scrapbook brings me back in time - it was so much fun!!!! Looking forward to reading more - keep em coming!

I've enjoyed your scrapbook so far, looking forward to reading more about the DVC Members Cruise and seeing the photos. You're doing a fantastic job with it Mark!!!

:D :D :D :D ;) ;) ;) ;) :D :D :D :D ;) ;) ;) ;) :D :D :D :D

It's looking great, Mark!!

Work and other distractions were causing the cruise to fade from memory - thanks for brining it back!! :)

I thank you all for your patience, now have pages 3 thru 5 up, all that's left is to put up the navigators and any other pictures I didn't use in the text :)

Thanks Mark, I'll be heading over to finish reading your report after work on Monday!!! I've enjoyed what you have done so far, I know I will enjoy the rest!!!

Couldn't wait until Monday after work, I just finished reading your report and looking at the photos, again I say, you did a GREAT JOB!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

Great scrapbook Mark - I really enjoyed going thru it - makes me want to break out in song - "Thanks for the Memories" - it truly was a fantastic trip for me and I surely hope there are more to come - what a great combination - DVCers and DISers - I hope to meet up with you and Mary on another cruise sometime!

The scrapbook is terrific Mark. Makes me feel like it was just yesterday that we were on the ship. Great Memories!!!!!

Thanks! I really am trying to refresh the magic of that cruise and keep it alive for a good time to come :)

I would appreciate one small bit of help, however!

In all the chaos that was the sailaway party, I didn't get a chance to put names to everyone. I don't have the best of hearing, and you remember how crazy that party was. I am sorry, but I don't know who anyone is in one of the pictures from sailaway. It's a group shot of seven people. I'd like to be able to put names to the faces, if anyone recognises themselves or knows who they are, PLEASE tell me so I can fix that, I really don't like leaving it that way.

It's still not completely done, but I just need another day or two to oragnize the rest of the pics into a plain picture page, and writeup a final note on it all :)

ACK!!! It's the dreaded Mambo #5!!!!!

Just kiddin'. Great job, and I'm very happy that I managed to avoid your camera. (Although I wasn't as lucky with Gail.;) )

Thanks for doing this! It brings back some wonderful memories. :earsboy:

Mark,

The sailaway picture of the 7 people - I can help you out with 2 of them. The first guy on the left is Joe, he is the husband of Dottie. Dottie is the third from the right and has a white tee shirt on. Dottie on the Dis boards is Disneyaholic.

Thanks for sharing your scrapbook with us! It really makes me want to be on the next member cruise ... whenever that is! ;)

Hi Mark,

Great job on the scrapbook! I can help with the photo of the 7 people :) I am on the far right, and the woman next to Joe is my mom, dznygram, and the handsome young man is my son, Mitch.

Thanks so much for the great sail-away get-together on deck 10! We had a great time meeting all the screen names we have met over the years. The button/pins were terrific! I happen to be in that picture your asking about! Most of us are AOL/DVC members who also frequent the DVC boards on AOL. We were there with a group of about 15 other AOL folks.
From left to right: Joe GA. (Dottie's DH), Mal ("Dznygram" Chris's DM) "neokid" ( Chris's DS) Rich (Me! "richym1"MI.) Dottie ("iwant2beeethere"GA.), Debbie ("debkay" Rich's DW MI.) and Chris ("Dznymom"NH.). Just off to our right (not pictured) are "iluvdvc" OH., "iluvwdw" PA., "WDW1972" FL. and a few others. Thanks for the great pictures! We had a great time on "The SS Member Cruise 2003" You can check out some of our pictures and trip report at Rich & Deb's SS Member Cruise

Richy,

Thanks for pointing everyone out. I wasn't much help to Mark. I knew you were all from the AOL group, but the only two I knew names to faces from that group were Sue and Darla.

Loved your page as well. I remember the Scotty Bowman sighting. We were sitting near you when someone spotted him and off you ran!

Wow, thanks Richy, that's exactly what I needed! :)

Those webages are awesome. I really enjoy seeing a trip from someone else's point of view :)

Thanks Mark, and richym1 for taking the time to put those together.:)
