Ok, I have been thinking of this one for a while and I hope it works!

This thread is an active running thread for those to post real time events, tips, and occurrences at DVC and WDW in real time.
We can share all kinds of real time info, that will help the Disers staying at DVC right now, for example:

"Just left AK at 3pm it was a zoo or natazu! LOL!!
"Boma last night was excellent"
"At AKV will leave laundry soap in laundry room for 30 minutes, come get now"
"Need to cancel LeCellier for tonight, call now"
"Sting in Concert at HOB" tonight
"Cant attend MVMCP tonight" Anyone need tickets?
"Floral at Community Hall at 8 pm, see you there!"

Whatever you are comfortable with sharing.

I would love to have a thread to check what is happening at the world, while Im at the world. We all know the CM's are not always up to speed and who knows DVC and Disney better than us? We've already built a trusted network of Dis Friends and know to ignore trolls and how to be safe.

One example I have is last NYE. There are so many resort specific events and then the park events. We could all share what's happening near our homes and we'd all have a place to check in case we were looking for something else to do.

I am not proposing this take place instead of trip reports, because those are past tense. Im talking about real time sharing.

I know some dont take their computers to WDW but for those of us that do,
I think this could work out great.

I will definitely post while we are at AKV in 2 weeks

It would be nice before heading out the door of our respective homes to check this thread for any happenings that we may want to check out or offer up some unneeded supplies or activities to someone else.

I'll be at the World 12/29 1/7 and will be bringing my laptop with me. I'll be more than glad to post here.

This could be a great thread for proposing last second meets with some of our other DVC friends while at WDW.

I also know that a lot of news is announced when I'm at Disney World. This would be a great thread for keeping up to date with news and events happening at WDW during your trip.

Free Broadband! I'll do a search to try and find out about it. DH and I would love to have free internet access while we're here.

LOVE this idea! We are online every day during our vacations (sad, but true! lol actually, we both work remotely, so the trade-off is that we often don't even have to use vacation days in order to go to WDW...as long as wel get the basics done each day, we can call it a work day...even if we spent 8 hours in the MK as well on that day! )

Anyway, this will be a GREAT service for us.
