Here's what the countdown chart looks like now.. and of course you can see Declan with SHORT hair.. no being called a princess this trip!

Sorry bout the girl friend drama. I know my oldest ds has had his share too. Not sure why.. but yes, I totally agree. teens are unique.

The kids LOVE seeing what is going to show when a new piece comes off.

Yeah..if this GF wasn't my best friends daughter the drama wouldnt be as big a deal..but sadly this is putting a def strain on our friendship...oh well..such is life!

we are now 136 days out.. I'm getting nervous..lol

I started buy $25 disney gift cards with each paycheck.. so the kids will have their spending money quick now..

Noah got a JOB.. working 20-30 hours a week at a local nursery.. he loves it. My good friends parents own it. But believe me he didnt' get the job cus of that. They simply adore him and the work he is doing. He and happy girl are back together.. oh my.. so staying out of that drama!

Baseball is in full swing.. betwen games, scrimmages and practices we are at some ball field 5 days a week.. often the kids games overlap and or are in totally different states/towns so it makes it even more interesting.. oh and to top it off Declan is trying out for All Stars!

This also happens to be the busy time of the year for my day job.. recital is only 6 weeks away..so much work to do in that time!!

So Disney planning isn't top on my list in any way shape or form!

Wow!I can't believe how much I've missed! Congrats to Noah about the job. And hint about girlfriends at this age: They're all teenage girls, which means by definition, they're all crazy in varying degrees! Tell him its good practice for a wife with PMS! Our schedule somehow just rose up and bit us in the behind too. I got to looking at it and apparently we have something going on every week/weekend between no and the end of July!! Oh well, at least then its only like 30 days until we leave for Disney!

Even though no one is currently reading I feel I need to keep posting my small updates:

I can't believe we are THIS close to under 100 days.. it's incredible. I'm slowly entering that useless stage of trip planning.. I am thinking, dreaming and talking about Disney much too much..lol.

Hey, I'm still reading! Every time your thread pops up, I come see what you have to say. I just realized TODAY that we're going to be there at the same time - I'm going down on 9/16 - 9/21 solo (so far), and staying at BC. I love seeing people who will be there when I'M there - I know whose pictures to look through to see if I'm slinking around in the background.

It's so tough being this far out from a trip, but knowing it's coming. My trip in 2010 I had six months to wait; in 2011 I had like four months to wait; 2012's trip I booked about, oh, 10 days before I left. I was going back and forth for awhile on my options for THIS trip, and finally made a decision, and now I have three months to wait!!! Why can't it be like LAST trip?? Ha!

Also, your son looks so handsome and grown up with his short haircut - I didn't recognize him from your TR! He looks like he went from grade school to high school with that hair cut, very cute!

Same here for us and our trip! I keep dreaming and talking about Disney so much! We even have a vacation to the beach to see family at the end of June, and I keep bypassing that in my brain and waiting for Disney!

Oh sweet!! It is.. I had exactly 9 months the last trip..this time we knew when we were going but didnt have ressies til Feb.. It's all very annoying..this waiting thing...lol

Mine are done for the next 5 weeks..then we go back the first week in July...

We are getting so close to double digits!! I am ecstatic!! I have bought over 100 Disney pins on Ebay for the kids to trade with. I can not fork over the money we did AT Disney last year.. i think that was our biggest expense..Declan and his pin trading obsession..lol. So so far each kid will get 25 pins.. I am hoping to be able to get at least another 50-100 so Declan and Noah can go hog wild. They both collect so they run of of tradable ones fast..the wee ones just like to trade so they don't need as many kwim?

I am actually going to start getting our Disney box out and start tossing stuff in it. No one is getting whole new wardrobes like they did for last years trip though..LOL. Trying to decide if I want to buy special water bottles to bring or just stick with the free water at the parks.. prolly that one..less to drag with us.

Since we are not bringing a stroller for Taejan I also have to decide about if I am bringing a backpack in this time. We never once needed the clothes I had packed for the youngest..but I did use it for the DSLR on the days I brought it ( when it rained of course) and for the ponchos.. decisions decisions.. maybe a small crossover bag instead?

Also still deciding if we are going to go to MNSSHP.. I want to go..the kids want to go..I am having a hard time stomaching the price for 7 of us..

Doesn't the trip always seem so far away in your head until you sit down and look at the calendar. We're at 98 days. That's still like a tad over 3 months. Sounds like a long way off. Until you figure that we will spend every weekend for the next month playing soccer. We have 3 full weeks of camp over the next 6 weeks. 1 weekend camp, and 5-6 swim meets. Plus, we school year round too. That three months is going to fly by! And there is still so much to do! We would love to do MNSSHP too, but its like $375 for the six of us. I can break it down and its only like $50/ dwarf! lol!

Yep..I know we have 3.5 months but really..yhat's NOT that much time when you consider all we have to do in that time. My kids have all opted NOT to play summer sports..I am so glad..Baseball has us going 6-7 days a week often with 2 games at a time in different states..plus I am now working more nights. I need my days quiet..LOL

Ok.. i'm at 114 days ( 115 days until POFQ) and either tomorrow or Tuesday I am making our day before ressies. Trying to decide between AoA for one night or POR for one night... help...
