Wow, just google'd. Can you imagine having 16 brothers/sisters?
"Why aren't you more like Jenny, Bob, Callie, Hayley..." The list goes on.

But I agree with the above poster, if they can afford it and it's what they want, it's great!

Anyways, I don't know. I have mixed feelings about this family. Since I live near them, it seems like every store I walk into has a jar collecting money for the Duggars. But it is their choice, and the kids don't seem too messed up...so more power to them I guess.

If you're going to have 20 children or however many they have, I think you should be able to handle it financially, not have to ask the community to feed your gigantic family.

I don't think financially is the only thing... they're crowding up the Earth. People weren't meant to breed that much, and people like that are the reason there's waay too many people on Earth. And I also blame these kinds of people for why I'm going to feel bad if I ever want a kid.

I always thought that I would adopt, to do my part in population control, why'll still having a child to love and raise, but it's not my fault if people like these are breeding like monkeys, and I should be able to have my own child or two without feeling guilty.

My thoughts exactly. The get donations from a diaper and formula company (can't remember the company names) plus money from all the TV spots that they do.

It seems like every time I turn around the news is doing another "special" on the Duggar family. One was watching them make dinner...who cares?

After reading their website, i can understand why they don't believe in contraception in taking 'the pill' but there are other ways!

If they want to have that many kids, thats fine, but i really worry about kids that get lost in the shuffle. I can see it families of 4, let alone 17!

Oh well, each to their own!
