Checked out of Hard Rock Live and popped into Walgrens on the way to the Magic Kingdom to get dosed up!! Got some tablets and throat spray and hope this will keep me going through the day!
Arrived at Magic Kingdom just in time for the first fun parade which includes Pluto as band leader and then lots of guests waving flags, tambourines, pom poms, etc with other characters like Daisy Duck. It was fun watching the dads who seemed to be embarrassed in playing their tambourines!!!
Headed over to Pirates as I was dying to see Capt Jack but after asking a cast member he waasnt going to be out for a couple of hours, so we queued for Capt Hook and Smee.
When it was my turn I told Capt Hook I was expecting Capt Jack but suppose he would have to do. He wasnt happy with this and started trying to claw me with his hook - Smee thought this was really funny. When he stopped for the photo, he was growling at me - lol - it was all done in good fun!!! Smee was impressed when I agreed that he would make a good capt Jack - lol!!!!!
Went on Pirates to get my Capt Jack fix and it was walk on. The park seemed fairly quiet given it was a Spectromagic night!!
We did lots of the other rides, all 3 mountains, Philamagic and Buzz, although my DH beat me and I wasnt impressed and had a mood on for a couple of mins - lol I dont like losing!!!!!
We camped out an hour before the parade. The parade is good but they seemed to have just removed the globes. Just a tip to anyone going soon, they have blocked off some of main street (right side looking towards the castle) dont sit facing the boards as they rope your side off and end up watching the parade with rope in the way. DH was not happy as they did not do this until 10 mins before and we have been sat there for an hour - never mind.
After the parade, we just went for a nice leisure walk round the park. Went in Toon town Tent but the queue was 30 mins and the characters were the more popular ones. However, when walking through Fronteirland, we noticed Brer Bear and Fox and we had never gotten Brer Fox before so I was really happy. I told him I hoped he hadnt eaten Brer Rabbit and he patted his tummy and licked his lips!!!!
We camped out for Spectro an hour before and I really enjoyed this as usual!! Wishes was just as good and I had my usually little weep!!!
Stopped at Ponderosa for tea and then bed - heaven!!!!
