they told me my Birth certificate was a copy or a fake

but bot the origional


so I can't get my permit

Le suck. I didn't need my birth cirficate to get my license here. I just needed proof of residency and my mom had to be there with me to prove I was who I said I was.

Where I got my license, you didn't have to have your birth certificate.
You just needed some kind of ID, and it even be a report card or something.

Why would you need ID to fly in the US?

Everyone needs photo ID to get through security and board the plane now. Doesn't have to be a passport, but needs to be some type of ID.


And yes. The DMV sucks. I had to wait about 3 months to get my permit because my social security card didn't match my birth certificate. (My middle name used to be my first name... don't ask... my parents are weird lol) Chin up though- it will work out!

I dont need a form of identification. They just ask my age (under 16 means I don't have a completely valid ID)
Sometimes they just ask me my name. Usually they don't.

But that's a major bummer.
