Hey there everyone!!!!

I am loving the pictures of everyone!!! How kewl!!! I dont try to picture people in my head because Im always wrong LOL.

Midi YaYa used to have problems transitioning like Cam did and we did the same thing Kim did. We would start at five minutes and count down the minutes for him. Worked very well at home but his K-1 (same teacher) teacher refused to do it. Lets put it this way her nick name was Atilla the Hun. You would probably have better luck getting your teacher to try that with your little one.

Carol I would be MORE than glad to represent you at DisCon!!!!

Midi YaYa's cough is just about the same. I called the doc today and he said no antibiotics which I agree with because there is no longer a fever. He suggested Robitussin DM for both boys. I will have to try Elaines idea because there is NO way I will get them to take it otherwise. Sending sick kids to school is a MAJOR pet peeve of mine. I keep my kid home when he is sick why cant others do the same? I have no family to fall back on to watch him when he is sick so If dh and I dont have the time we lose that days pay. Hurts us just as much as it hurts everyone else. They put the entire class at risk and also their own child! Arrrrrrgh. While standing there with Midi at his classroom today I noticed half the class has this same broughy cough! The ONLY reason I sent Midi to school today was that he has been over the fever for more than 24 hours and is no longer contagious and he was acting fine this morning.

Good evening all! I am finally here for a while at least. I have a few things I need to do around the house so I'll pop in and out I think.

I just have to say very quickly I love seeing all these pictures! It is so wonderful to put a face to the name! Carol & Marilyn you are pretty much exactly how I pictured you both! Nancy, I pictured you with slightly shorter & lighter hair (a medium brown I think) but otherwise close too! I love pictures and I love seeing you all

...that was in the box, it was a watch he designed himself! One for me and one for him. His and her watches!

The design-a very personal one- is very graphic and simple-matte black leather strap, flat brushed stainless steel, not fancy but really kind of sophisticated IMO(if you've ever been to the Moss store in NYC-like the watches there.) He simplified the already graphic Korean alphabet(my native tongue) to make a design that spells out our-this is embarrassing-pet names for each other. It's abstract enough that even a Korean wouldn't be able to tell immediately that it spelled anything.

It's so special to me bc-on top of working towards his PhD, he took an hellacious year learning Korean and nearly blew my parents' socks off last Thanksgiving. Anyway, thanks for listening to me go on, I'll go away now. I'm just crazy about him.

He'd KILL me if he knew I told you guys and all the cyberlurkers out there about this!!

Oh, {{HUGS}} Bonnie. I know you were offered a room already, but if you can put up our decorating theme, I am sure Carol and I can take you in. I'm even willing to sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor to help out one of my YaYa sisters.

Actually you guys, picture me in stretch pants, large, baggy top and moccasins on the weekends and you have the "real" Tank Dork! I have to tell you Ya Ya sisters about the outfit of DS's wedding. I looked and looked for an outfit. Knew I wanted a pastel or cream color, something I could wear to other wedding receptions, DH's Christmas Party, etc. Finally ended up in Carson's, saw that on the rack and decided "I love that". Picked it up off the rack, tried it on, fit perfectly, and said "yes!", this is it. Took it to the counter, I swear I did not look at the price tag (had been looking at stuff for $250 - $300). The lady says "well that will be $68 plus tax". I said "excuse me?!". Well, to make a long story short, I am "cheap" (take that any way you want to LOL), but that had to be the bargain of my life!

And yes, Carol, I will wear it at the debut of our mansion bedroom.

Oh Kim, now I remember that picture! Well, no wonder Jay is willing to have you as his "master". You are a cutie, and so is that little cutie patootie on your lap!

My YaYa ornament exchange goes out tomorrow!

Jeannie, awww, how sweet he is. That is so very, very special.

Instead of going to the apt. hang out here at the cottage... it's almost time to move, and I'm thinking we should start dividing up the boxes that Jodie brought in and start packing before we get booted out on our Ya Ya rears. How about if we whip up some Margaritas and fire up the band... (we do have a Ya Ya cottage house band, right????) and pack n' party the night away? Where's the houseboy? We need him to help load the big stuff into the moving vans. What?! No one wants to have a packing party?! Okay fine... *Kim grabs a couple of boxes, a Margarita, and shuffles off to her room to begin packing. How in the world am I going to get that wallpaper off the ceiling???*

Marilyn grabs a few boxes and starts to pack (oh, I have to take down my lime green antler ceiling fan??!!) Ok , Marilyn is comforted by the fact that Carol has a really cool scheme for the bedroom at the mansion.

Kim, pass a a Margarita. (Marilyn has Margarita glasses that measure about 8 inches across ) that she and her neighbor use in the summer on the deck).

Oh, do we have to take the wallpaper off the walls? OK, Marilyn and Carol are auctioning off glow in the dark moosehead wallpaper. Do I hear a bid? OK, Kim bids minus $20. Do I hear another bid? Jennifer......Jennifer bids minus $30. Anyone else?

Ohhh, Nancy, a gormet kitchen in the mansion! "Professional" stove and ovens. Yeah, Nancy can bake 15 dozen cookies at a time!

Kim, we have a house band! DH is playing guitar right now with "Eric Clapton!" DH will be our house band!

OK, now lets get down to business. Serious business. Kim, we need at least 2 "housekeepers" for the mansion. (Jay can bring gannie with him. She needs the job, and she is just perfect for Jay) You also have to find us a cabana boy. (Jay gets a cabana girl....ummm, how about someone like "Ritchies" mom from Happy Days? He needs someone with "mothering" instincts, don't you think?)
