Good morning everybody!! I just LOVE this cool Fall weather!!! makes me feel energized!!! I took ds to school this AM and then went to the grocery store and the dry cleaner. I've dona a load of laundry and dishes and now must pack both kids for sleepovers tonight...they are off tomorrow for a teacher work day. I dropped the big hint ot dh that we will be alone tonight...he said something like "um huH" and kept playing his PC game. Anybody ever feel like computers, video games and TVs are keeping families apart??? I am seriously thinking about instituting a "non electronic" day around here (don't faint Elaine! ). Anybody got any guesses as to how THAT will go over? Gives me the "woogies" just thinking about it!! Karen...I love that word!!! How is midi ya ya's cough today? Elaine's lemonade idea is great! Chocolate syrup also works if you have a little chocoholic. I do HATE how people send their sick kids to school too!! It is a pet peeve of mine!!! Last Spring, just before spring break, a girl in Caitlin's class came to school with a temp of 105!!!!! She stayed until lunch and then went home...3 guesses why. She had a perfect attendance record since kindergarten and didn't want to blow it in 5th grade!!! Caitlin caught the bug and spent the ENTIRE spring break in the bed!!! AUGHHHH!!! I let the mother have it...she couldn't see why I was so upset. Somebody gave it to her daughter first!!!!

Kim...glad ya get to be a potato for a few days! Pull out that scrapbooking stuff!

Carol...I couldn't get into the cottage last night either so it's not just you! That's the second night in a row. Must be some kind of update work going on? Do you know Beanie?

Gotta run guys...ornament shopping today! And I am keeping a wary eye on the mail!!! See ya later!!

Mornin' Carol roomie. How are you? Have you thought of how we are going to decorate our room at the mansion? You got locked out of the cottage too? Geez, pretty soon there will be more YaYa's sleeping on the porch than in their rooms.

Hi all! I am sitting here eating my lunch (tomato soup... yummy!!) and I thought I'd come chat with you all... but most of you seem so terribly busy today. I guess I am not that much better though

Jodie, now why on earth would you think I'd have trouble with no electronics Being that I am the young one here and don't have any kids, I use mine a lot more than most I am sure. But I will say there are times when I would love to smack Luis upside the head when he doesn't get off his computer... I am sure that he would say the same of me though at times. And now he has that Sony Clié of mine to try to deal with

Marilyn, I think of little else. I still can't get away from those lightbulbs. How do you feel about midnight blue velvet? It'd go well with lightbulbs. A hint of silver perhaps? And a lot of lightbulbs. What do you think? Too conventional after the antlers?

Well, I tried to post this morning, but I got locked out of the cottage AGAIN!! This is the first chance I have had to catch up and chat. We had a conference for DD #2 today. Teacher says she is doing well, but needs help with fine motor skills (cutting in a straight line) and transitioning from one activity to another (she cries). Ah....what to do....she's only 5....Any suggustions?

Well, I am off. DH found a problem with our pest statement that I have to research.

Sherry, I am loving this Clié! I had a Palm IIIxe for 2 years before this one and now I am up to high resolution color screens, picture viewers, paint, excel & word readers/creators.... oh and bejewelled is on here too I am in so much trouble! It is so amazing how much the technology has changed on these over times. We have an original Palm at home and it couldn't even beam anything I'm so spoiled now

Michele & Carol, I have had trouble lately too... I think it is just the servers here locking us out

I got the afternoon off!!! Amazing isn't it? I have to work those long hours this weekend again, but at least I got off today at 1. Now I know that's only 2 hours early, but hey, I will take what I can get at this point! I am sitting here with no husband and no kid, and it is so peaceful...I'm in heaven!
