I just started the new med the docs gave me for my stomach. Please say a little something that it works a lot faster than they say it should. It takes four weeks to totally kick in. Right now Im down to eating one meal a day because the doctor only gave me enough of the anti nausea med to take 1.42 pills a day until I get back to see him. I cant risk getting sick at work so I cant eat breakfast or lunch. Im down to only eating dinner. They say this lovely antidepressant is supposed to work on the smooth muscle of the stomach also so Im hoping upon hoping that that part of it works faster than the four weeks I was told it would take to get up to level. The doctor commented that he hasnt seen any weight loss in me with this illness. Well he's gonna see it now! Ive already lost three pounds in three days!

I am still stewing over my DD commenting on my driving - she thinks that since she drove a couple of times last winter while she had her permit - that she is now qualified for teaching driver's ed!!

Elaine - I am also doing the other OE exchange - but I found something that my exchangee said they really like!!

UPDATE!!!
Today is the first day of Turkey season - you know that my two guys are big outdoorsmen, well they go up at 4:00 am to head out into the mighty woods. They came back before 10:00 am and they each got a jake turkey!! Within 3 minutes of each other! TURKEY DINNER AT PAM'S!!!

I hate driving in the snow! I will do anything to avoid it. It gets really slick here.
My DD was the same way...until she slid and almost went into a ditch, came home crying.....now she knows

Tell your DD I said "Congrats!" That's great!!
I know that sooner or later my DD is going to have a wreck - and I'm terrified! Between Nov. 2001 and Feb. 2002 - DD lost 8 classmates! One was struck by a car while crossing the street, 4 were killed in an autombile wreck on New Year's Day (in the afternnon), her very dear friend and fellow dancer/cheerleader died in early Feb. from encephalitis, and then 2 more died in an automobile accident the end of Feb. (one of whom was an old boyfriend and still was one of her best friends!)
There have been more than 15 more accidents over the , spring, summer and fall - including another accident on the way to school yesterday - but thank goodness the boys are ok!)
I freak out when she gets in the car - but I can't stick her in a plastic bubble, as much as I would like that! She bought her own car and maintains it and pays for half the insurance.

dizneenut - I think I'm at least a 6 hour drive from you, so you'd better hop in the car now!

Pam, Oh boy! I don't blame you a bit, I would've flipped too! Years ago, I was trying to drive in an incredible hail/rain storm. I was on a major highway... couldn't see ANYTHING, so I attempted to pull over, and ended up with the passenger side of the car in a ditch.

Karen, I hope you begin to feel better very very soon!! We want those meds doing their thing by Ya Ya meet day!

No ornament here either. I haven't had the time to do any shopping since receiving my name. I'm hoping to do a little Christmas shopping this weekend, so will probably get it then.

Hi Karen. Hope the meds kick in soon. I know when I went on Zoloft it was supposed to take between 4 to 8 wks to kick in, but it started working after the 2nd week. {{HUGS}} to you and a tone of *PD* headed your way sweetie.

Pam and Nancy, CONGRATS on the two team wins! That is awesome. Pam, that is why I bought the Tank. I absolutely hate driving in snow. I would lay awake at night if they predicted snow during the night and I knew I had to drive in it in the morning. Haven't had snow to drive in yet (just bought the tank in August), but I feel better already knowing I will have it this winter.

Pam, who plucks and cleans the turkeys? You? Naw, I didn't think so. Woo Hoo! Turkey dinner at the cottage tonite. And coffee and Nancy's shortbread cookies for dessert. (I got out of bed last night and took a couple)

Normally when a store offers an amount off its off a certain amount. I figure someone goofed when putting it in their system. Ive seen it happen before. I used to do deals like these all the time. I venture to guess everyone who ordered will get an email canceling their order. Thats what usually happens.
