The Disneyland Hotel Superthread

Signs are good. You can enter "Disneyland hotel" in the GPS/map. You'll have to be let in through the gate and your self parking lot is the first lot on the right. I've left my luggage in the car and got it later like you are planning. Since you'll have to walk past Bell services, you could also check your luggage there on the way to the park.

Thank you so much for this helpful info! How much is self parking and is it per night, please? Not based on like a 24 hour period from entry?

Thank you :)

Currently believe $40 self & $70 valet per night (taxes will go on top of those charges). If stay on Disney Vacation Club points, up to two cars, self parking is no cost.

Thank you! I’m actually renting DVC points for my stay…..would I still get it? Or do I need to show some sort of DVC ID when entering at security?

I wasn’t going to pick up our hire car until the third day of our four day stay.

On points you still qualify!! Just check tha they have it logged at front desk accounting. If do online check in & include number of cars (it gives the info there on DVC). Most likely you will get a printed paper for dash at the parking kiosk security, when let them know you are on a DVC reservation at the gate.

Self park as mentioned is that lot just to the right from passing the kiosks. If the ramp is open to the roof, self parking is up top there as well as an option.

That’s really helpful, thank you :)

Hello once again all!
I have my reservations for the DLH and am so excited! I just have a quick question for anyone who may be in the know and I realize it's a bit silly. How is the AC at the Disneyland hotel? I run really hot and like to keep it on all night. I've been watching some videos and see there is a good override that seems to work, but can anyone tell me if they have had that experience? I don't like it when it shuts on and off all night. I've used the override lots of times at WDW but just want to make sure it works here. I think it's a bit of an older system. Thank you as always for any help you can give me!

When I checked in for my last stay there the CM warned me the AC might shut off if nobody was in the room, but that didn't happen for us.

I've heard people suggest getting a balloon and putting in front of the AC unit and that's supposed to help.

Great, thank you so much! I don't mind it going off so much if I'm out of the room, just when I'm in there sleeping. I hear different stories about just how sensitive it is, so I was curious if it usually stayed on at night. Thank you again!

Just want to clarify DLH not the Villas at DLH? They might have different setups since one is much newer than the other.
