The disney survival bag swap... on hold

I love this idea, and I'm sure everyone appreciates the hard work you are putting into it (so you can just ignore the negative comments here and there):goodvibes

My trip dates are September 30-October4 at the Poly. These date, unfortunately, overlap PrincessApril. But if she does not respond, I would be willing to fill-in -- NOT TRYING TO TAKE IT AWAY FROM YOU.

If it does not work out for me to have the bag, I surely have things to donate. Off the top of my head...I know you mentioned Birnbaum's guide (I have several from past years). And I have sample razors, etc. Let me know.

I love the Budget Board and the great ideas! I'd love to participate! We will be at the BWV Oct 10 checking out Oct 17. I'm sure we'll have unused food/drink stuff. And I have a couple Disney pins that I've somehow received and since I'm not a pin collector I'd love to pass it on to someone who is.

BTW, sasmmb, my kids are BIG pin collectors. So if you'd like to pass them on I would be happy to send you a S.A.S.E. You can PM me. Or would that be mean to take away from this swap?
 
I wish I would have found this thread before my trip, but I still think its a GREAT idea! I brought snacks with me and I had stuff delivered from garden grocer, but this idea is wonderful. I had a bunch of stuff left over, so it would have been nice to leave it for someone else. Here are some things, if not already mentioned, that I would include:

Drink Mixes (crystal light)
PB & J, bread, sandwhich bags
Fever Reducer
Tide/bounce sheets
aloe vera
mole skin
Gold Bond Powder

I really hope that people who are interested in this, will help make it a success and those that are not interested will find another thread :)Good luck!!:thumbsup2

Hi there I wouild love to join this swap. We will be staying at Disney music July 23- Aug 5th then Animal Kingdom from Aug 5=12. I saw someone was using in when we first get there, so if we could get it after they check out then we could get it to the next people o n the 3rd. At least we could use it for a little while but if it doesn't work out thats ok too! I have stuff to add as well Thanks for doing this.princess:

Ok, so I've been following the monorail accident like crazy. And I've been at the parks the past couple of days... so the topic slipped to the back of my mind. I will be getting a new post up soon of every one new.

The bag is pretty much anything you have left over you don't want to drag back home. Things you only bought for the trip and think the next family will have a use for it, like bottles of water, snack size packs of snacks for the kiddos, maybe some breakfast items good for eating in the room. Try to make sure there's no refridgerator items, unless you know for a fact that the next person will have one and they wouldn't mind having it. There will also be a cooler (it's soft sided with a hard plastic insert, and a special velcro flap on top for easy retrival of drinks) to take into the parks for extra drinks and such.
 
evie10164: Get in contact with more mickey for me, they're staying off property and told me that they would be renting a car. And their condo is going to be right around the corner from All Stars, so it would be an easy drop off.
macrosswife will be staying at a Downtown Disney Hotel, so if it's a problem to get over there, I'll do the delievery.

if you're on the list, please tell me if you had contacted the person before you and after you for transfer. So I can plan on which transfers I need to do. If I'm going to be dropping it off, I'll need to give my cell number so we can arrange a meet up place and time. (check the first page for every one's dates, there's a few that I have to pick up from because there's currently no one after them for a week.)
 
I would have to say that PrincessApril is not responding at all. I know there is a few months left but nothing at all.

Let me know what you want to do as I see there is another person waiting. I have been in contact with the person before me, she actually contacted me. It was super and worked great. Unfortunately, I didn't write down the instructions so I will have to clarify with her again. Don't forget we start out at CSR and end up BCV.

This is just great and thanks for all the hard work.

You're not the only one having problems with getting in contact with another user. Like I said before, on the tag has my name and phone number as well, so I can always stop by and pick it up if there's no contact for delivery of the next person.
 
I don't need the bag but I can donate things, like snacks(granola bars,fruit crisps, fruit cups, etc.),extra bottles of water etc. at the end of our trip if you would like. I have a son with autism and 2 others with health problems so we always prefer to be overprepared for this reason but always end up with extra. Just let me know.:) We are there from 9/19-10/2 CBR. We could also throw in extra kids stuff at the end as well.
 
I haven't contacted the person before or after me since November is still far off. Also, neither of our dates overlap (before or after), so at this time we will not be able to do a hand-off.

If someone new wants to join and overlaps with our dates, I don't mind sharing. We don't need the bag the entire time and are more than willing to share. We will want to add our things before leaving WDW.
