The Disney Store on the Champs-Elysees

Hi, I was wondering if the Disney Store on the Champs-Elysees offers any unique merchandise or things to see that you can't find at the DLP resort.

I was planning my itinerary for my first trip to DLP, and was wondering about this store. I've been to the World of Disney Store in New York City, and know it does have quite a few neat things you don't see in the American parks.

Unfortunately I haven't been to DLP recently so I can't really answer your question properly. But I was in Paris in May. The Disney Store did have some Paris specific items pens, soft toys, t-shirts and umbrellas but not vast amounts they had "Paris" printed on them rather than "Disneyland Resport Paris".

It's a lovely walk along the Camps Elysees even if you don't buy anything. (If the Arc de Triomphe is behind you the Disney Store is someway down on the left hand side).

A little off topic but I loved the New York Disney store. I got a hoodie which says I (heart symbol) NY but instead of a heart its Mickeys head. My husband thinks I look a fool but I love it!

I bought one of those too, love it! Can't wait to visit the Paris store!

My DD is going to New York with her college and that hoodie has been top of her list ever since she found out about the trip! I keep teasing her and saying it will be all art galleries and no time for shopping!

I don't know when you were last at the Manhattan World of Disney, but I have recently been extremely disappointed with their location-specific merchandise. It has mainly been reduced to the Minnie Statue of Liberty and Mickey police officer items; no longer the variety of items I used to see there.

Unfortunately the same seems to have impacted the Paris store. We used to see quite a few unique items there but not as much recently.

I've been similarly underwhelmed with UK Disney stores recently too

Yeh i went in the Paris Disney store in June, and they have some unique paris merchandise...but is not that impressive.

As an example of things they used to carry years ago, I have a leather rucksack with a Mickey patch from the Paris Disney store. They used to have characters unique to that location. In New York I used to buy note cards - I have a set which is photos of neighbourhood locations in NY with a set of Mickey ears 'hidden' in the photo.

Those are some examples of very unique items which simply don't exist anymore in those stores. Now just a few items which are not updated seasonally or even yearly.

Even the staff at the Manhattan Disney Store told me that they were highly disappointed with their city specific offerings.
