Planning my disney wedding, which isn't for a few years yet, but you all know how we brides to be like to plan anyway!

The MK shoot is one of the most important parts for me having a disney wedding, otherwise we would maybe be at cyrpess grove or swan and dolphin!

Alas, i have been researching all of the pros and cons of disney photography vs outside photography and getting the MK shoot.

I think we would definitely get more value for money with an outside photography, and we are not too worried about the MK shoot not being included in our minimums, as if we had disney photography we would be way above our minimums anyway! :lmao:

now, to get to the actual question, this whole 45 days out problem.... we will be honeymooning in florida [coming from the uk] and will be around for about 3 weeks after our wedding, which will be in july time.

Do you think we will have a good chance of getting ANY of these 21 days at 45 days out? or is it too risky?

thanks, hope you can answer my question, and if any of you brides have waited until 45 days, did you get your date ok?

I'm not sure what you're asking? :confused3 waiting till 45 days out for your wedding date? Are you saying you are coming back for the MK shoot and not sure if it will be when you are there?

I think it shouldn't be too big of a problem. July is relatively low season wedding-wise, I think. Though, as you say, if you want to be absolutely 100% sure, it may be worthwhile for you to invest in DFAP.

It depends on your budget and priorities.

sorry i didn't write that properly. when we get married in florida, we will be staying on for another three weeks for our honeymoon.

my question was do you think we will be able to get a day during this time for our MK shoot, if we can only book 45 days out? we probably won't be able to come back for the shoot, because we are in the UK and it's very expensive to come over! :(

thanks for your help, think i need to sit down and go over budgets, pros and cons and then decide. :D

I think that is a question to ask Disney FTW themselves. I think a sales consultant would be able to help iwth that answer...

I think your 3-week vacation gives you a WAY better chance of getting an MK shoot than most 1- or 2-week honeymooners have. I wouldn't sweat the 45-day booking policy.
