I'm arriving on May 19th for the College Program and am trying to figure out what clothing I should bring with me. I have some business casual clothing, but I'm not exactly sure if it's good enough for Disney.

Does anyone have any pictures of what they are planning to wear to Traditions or old pictures of what people were wearing at a previous Traditions?

Any recommendations for what I should bring/buy would be helpful.

Thanks!

I wore dress pants and a button down shrit to the last traditions, for classes I wore dress pants and polo shirts.

I was wondering if someone could post pictures of that type of clothing. I have a hard time understanding the link. I have no idea what a blazer is, or a twill, or an oxford, and I never even heard of business style shorts, I don't think they sell business shorts in Vermont because its always so cold.

It really isn't difficult. If you don't feel comfortable or fashion forward with the business professional style then keep it simple. A nice black pencil skirt with a short sleeved sweater or button down top and some comfy flats would be great for Florida heat and all the walking involved in park orientation. Or go for some neutral colored professional pants and a nice top.

Really the only way to do this is to go to the store, try on things, and shop! Kohl's has some great, cheap, business professional stuff.

for real easiest thing to get is a good pair of dress pants or 2 and a few button down shirts, you don't need a jacket if you don't have one.

I think a lot of people are stressing out more then they need to about this look :) and its alwasy good to have a few looks like this for interviews and such as well.

I'll look for links for ideas

This short would be Disney Look, IF AND ONLY IF, it is worn with PANTY HOSE and a jacket. AT ALL TIMES. Yeah. No. Get too hot? Too bad, jacket must stay on. I have yet to see anyone in shorts... http://www4.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.asp...15&cmVirtualCat=&CmCatId=external|53651|53657

Also remember, nothing sleeveless and no knit polo shirts. Khakis/Dockers are OK, but must be PRESSED and CREASED. Shoes must be business and for women be fully enclosed, have an open toe, OR an open heel. No sling-back peep toes. Hosiery is a MUST with a dress, but not with pants for women. As hot as you think pants will be, I promise you, having nylon clinging to your leg is pretty dang uncomfortable in 95 degrees and a bazillion percent humidity.

You can't go wrong with a pair of black and brown slacks with a few shirts that can coordinate with either color. If you are planning to go on any meet & greets with managers to try to network, I would recommend investing in at least one suit. Something like this would be appropriate: http://www5.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.asp...IND=2&cmVirtualCat=&CmCatId=50434|50443|51282

Save your cute for your fun times and remember that this is a corporation and business dress is always in fashion.

Wow! helped me a lot too! I forgot about shoes totally! I was going to wear my sneakers! That would have been embarrassing!
Thanks so much!

The smallest women's I've seen is a size 4 online. If you really wear a kids 2, you are going to be needing to look at something along these lines:http://www.zappos.com/nina-kids-dezi-youth-fudge-pebbled-leather

You also have the advantage of Mary Janes being back in style now, so that may help.

I used to work in a shoe store, and I'm pretty sure I remember that a kids 2 would be a women's 4? And I've seen them before, it's just a really really rare thing.

Just stick with something basic. The kids department should have a simple black ballet flat that you can dress up.

I like you wear kids shoes. like the biggest kid size there is though. I found that a simple black flat can be found in kids sizes around holidays! I hope that would work for you as well. or Walmart's shoes for kids sometimes has suitable dressy flip flop type. I lucked out on my last program and found a little heal but that was walmart really late at night hunting for a long time.
