Hi All
We'll be there in 9 weeks (Wahey!) and we're toying with the Perfectly Princess Tea Party for my 5 year old daughter - it's her birthday a couple of weeks before we go. Any thoughts on whether this is good value :confused3 . I've heard mixed reviews and it's a lot of cash as there will be 4 of us!

I am not a "tea" fan, but my mom is and she was with me on my last trip with the kiddos. My son went on the Pirate Cruise. We went over to Kona Cafe to Kona Cafe for breakfast. On our way back we saw this going on in the Tea room. My mom wanted to watch (as I rolled my eyes). We sat down and watched. i was very entertained. The singer was excellent and Sleeping beauty seemed to spend a fair amount of time in there. All the little girls left beaming !! This is something when my daughter gets older i will take her too.

We've done it twice, and my dd (just turned 4) is BEGGING me to take her again. So, I guess we will probably do it in December.

It is very nice!! Rose Petal is amazing, and the time with Aurora is very nice.

It is expensive, but it does make my dd feel very special.

Don't plan on eating the food, though. It's not very good. I thought it was just me, but both times we attended the tea party...no one was eating the food.

The kid's plate is really good...heart shaped pb&j and ham 'n chees sandwiches. I wish I could get the kids' plate when I go...yummm!!!

Thanks Beca. That's what I've heard too, that the food isn't up to much, but the experience is really excellent. We'll see.

My Wife and Daughter went in Oct 2004 and loved it, and enjoyed the food. It was lovely how the little girls got aple juice in real china teapots to pour.

Included in the price was a My Disney Princess Girl doll complete with Sleeping beauty outfit (on sale for about $40), a tiara and wand for your little girl, a charm bracelet (think this was on sale for about $6) and a rose from Sleeping Beauty. After the party upstairs in the shop you got a certificate, scrapbooking kit (on sale at $20) and a 50% discount on other outfits for the doll. $200 does seem expensive but once you take account of the "goodies", your food etc as well as the whole experience IMHO it's worth it.

You summed it up. The food was Blaughhhh! It was alright to do, we did it this past December. My problem I think was that the atticiaption was better than the event for me. It was a surprised for DD (5) and she didnt even know what it was when we got there. She loved the doll, has lost the braclet, bent the wand and crown out of wack. She got a bit bored waiting for her turn to meet Aurora and was in a group with some overly pushy parents. (We all paid $200 for this experience wait like the rest of us.) It might have been more fun to do with another mom and Dd. It just was better in my head than it really was once we were there. We wont do it again, and I have a hard time tellling others you have to do it!! :confused3 It is a lot of money for the 10 min that the girls spend with Aurora.

It isnt on my must do list anymore. The wonderland tea party still is, DD loved that also and is more do able for everyone at $30.

We just got back and went last week and my DD4 had a wonderful time! Rose Petal was so energetic and the fun for my DD was pretending to be a grown up princess and have a real tea party. The doll they get is $50 in the park dressed in jeans and the Aurora outfit is another $25. I don't think the adult food was that great either, but some people had made different requests in advance and they were accomodating. The food didn't bother me because we went for the tea and the princess interaction which was quite good.
