The DIS Katrina thread began on 8/26...

I browsed the old pages and found the thread Hurricane Katrina..

You know it was started by Shutterbug on 08-26-2005, 04:56 PM, DAYS before Katrina made landfall...

I have to say that I find it impressive how The DIS was so concerned about this. I look back on that thread and see posts from members saying, "this could be the big one," etc.

It's too bad government officials don't post on/read The DIS.
