DBF and I went to the track today to watch the races. I am SO sunburned! OUCH! It hasn't been this hot in a while. DBF is think of joining the Over The Hill Gang motorcycle club. http://www.overthehillgang.org/ :rotfl: You have to be over 30 (he just makes it, he's 31). That's who we watched today. It's just a bunch of guys who ride twice a month for fun at different tracks around So. Cal. They do keep track of points through out the year and do an awards banquet at the end of the year.
Is that for people who are no longer racing? I thought your BF was still racing...?

Hey, pix! How was your day? Sounds like it's still pretty hot there.

Our weather has cooled considerably. The sky's kinda dark right now and it was raining. Thought the rain wasn't supposed to come until later. Poop!

Ah, well. DH said he'd still BBQ as long as it wasn't pouring. :rotfl:

I just got back from Black Bustard; I returned the movies I'd gotten earlier in the week. I couldn't remember when I rented them (and therefore when they were due back), so hopefully they weren't late. I checked to see if they had HS Musical (the first one), but they apparently have only one copy, and it's always out. I just keep trying! :(

well food turned out really good...just wish it was cold outside...kinda warm to be eating hot food:rolleyes: oh well...i sorted my laundry....and I watched some tv....whoopty doo...what a life:banana: :sad2:

My bf made me a bit crabby

awhile ago. :sad2: It was just too hot outside and it made us both grumpy. We weren't outside very long, but still.

We ate chicken kabob at our favorite place. We were the only ones there and they seated us in a nice air conditioned area. It was nice and quiet and then when were almost finished eating more people arrived and it got a bit noisy. Good thing we were leaving. :rotfl:

We went to the mall and my bf bought a pair of Puma's. I bought some cute hello kitty stationery from Sanrio. One girl that worked there said she likes my Tokidoki Hello Kitty bag and started saying how she wants it really bad. I looked at the bags in Nordstrom but didn't see anything cool. The sales lady there: OMG! Juicy girl, where have you been? Long time no see!" :rotfl2: My bf tried Robek's juice. I warned him it has a funny taste but he bought it anyway. He took 2 sips and went: "BLECH!!" and tossed it. :rotfl2:

I stopped at Jamba Juice on the way home and then we went to Cost Plus World Market and looked around. Now I'm at home and I'm watching Totoro. :yay: I'm going to go wash my car. It's so filthy. Talk to you later.

Hi, Lynn!

I would, except that we rarely rent movies. In fact, I was looking through the shop after I dropped off the movies, and didn't find anything I was dying to watch. Very disappointing!

There are lots of movies I'd love to see and kicked myself for not seeing in the theater, but whenever I'm in a video store, I can never seem to remember what they were! :rotfl:

im still trying to get sweeney todd...i went to 2 places in MV and they didnt have it...i did see it at the theater but want to see it again

Hello guys.

We went to Walmart today, and got my meds... I kept forgetting while we were out, and I finally went just to get it. I dropped off the scrip, and we go about our business then go back to gt it. Turns out my insurance refused to pay for it. So they called it in, and went through all this junk just to get my insurance to cover $10. of it. Yipee Skippy. So this is going to cost me $30. a month? Forever? That sure does add up to a lot of money. I dunno. my insurance sure does seem to be fairly worthless right now.

Oh, wow. Our local store had TONS of them. I didn't get it, though. I think I just don't get Tim Burton. I watched Edward Scissorhands, and the Nightmare before Christmas, and didn't really like them. :confused3

Sorry, Staley, that stinks!

Is it not covered because there's a generic that does the same thing? Hopefully your doc's office can find something for you that is covered.

I hear that. We had a lazy morning. The kids didnt sleep well, so no one slept well. Alex was really sick, but of course he is fine now. ;) And Mikalah was just fussy. I am going to guess it was to warm in their room last night. So we just loafed about and rested. Went to Walmart, and spent to much money..:lmao:

Then came home, and watched a movie with the hubby, took my new medicine.. got all dizzy from it and fell asleep. Only to wake up to Mikalah eating her way through an entire box of fruit snacks. With Alexs help.

Yeah, even if I did like Tim Burton I'm not sure I'd like this one, it sounded kinda... well, very sick! :rotfl2:

My sister loves Tim Burton movies, I wonder if she's seen it?
