oh my god you guys...i have never seen so much flip flopping around...ok now im confused...shawna first you are getting a room, then your staying with us, then your not, then you are and now what?????? what are you doing????

not you ..its Shawna...shes supposed to be sharing a room with me and tink and then shes not and then she is and that was the last thing I heard and now today shes got her own room again...so you see how this affects how much Im having to plan for...whether its 2 ways or 3 ways

Wow. Wasn't really needing this today so here goes.

First of all if you have no idea the hurdles I had to jump through with dh's work to have him get off I've been back and forth whether he could even get off at all I just havent mentioned them. Like dizzy his restaurant is very demanding on his time and I have 2 kids that I take care of so that he can work. He puts in about 75 hours per week and has not been given his vacation because its still a new restaurant. This makes everything right now last minute decisions.

Throw in the mix my moms surgery which maybe I might have downplayed it but its pretty major and I have a lot going on right now. I'm really lucky that I do get to go once and for all. As with dizzy's situation I could not plan anything 100% definite until last minute.

As far as the room goes I knew Alison was a maybe about going and I was trying to convince dizzy to go so I thought we could use another room instead of being packed in like sardines. I tried to get a room last week but couldnt and someone on the ladies only thread was giving theirs up so I snagged it. I figured for months you had been planning on paying for 2 so its not like your budget should be out of whack to much since I just decided to come for sure in the last few weeks. I'm sorry if it has and I would gladly pay my share if it has caused any hardship. This all just happened 2 days ago.

However I am not upset about my decision, in fact i'm really pleased because now DIZZY IS COMING!!!!

So the way I see it everything all works out for the best. Other than the money, which I said I would pay if I needed to, I'm not really sure why you would be so upset with this.

This has been a tough enough day so I'm done for now. I'm glad I could come on for some good news though. Yeah! Dizzy!

I'm back in the waiting room, apparently my mom is having some sort of reaction to some meds she was given and so they kicked me out to stabilize her. I've called my brothers and dh and so now I'm just waiting wondering what is going on. She just started going in and out of consciousness and I thought she was tired because of the meds and surgery and pain killers but the nurses all came flying in and kicked me out.

Oh and On a lighter note all of the nurses I've talked to like Dr Dreamy. See I'm not calling him McDreamy because there can only be just one of those. But they said he was the cutest DR that goes to this hospital.

YES! Not so muc the McSteamy kind so more McDreamy because he's just cute. The post op nurse said everyone LOVES Him and they fight over who gets to call and brief him on his patients.

I spoke with dizzy on the phone a couple hours ago when I ran out to get food. I have never heard her so excited!!!

I'm fearful for my Bambi though and mentioned I might rent a car so she doesnt steal him again.
