The boys just reappeared, which is a good thing. I was about to go hunt them down because it was too quiet.

I asked DS7 if he had brushed his teeth, and he said yes. I told him to go get his jammies on, and he reluctantly left. Soon DS3 began to wail again, and when he came in I asked what was wrong. He said he went to follow DS7 upstairs, and DS7 poked at him to stay away. So I cuddled him and got him calmed down.

Just then DS7 was coming back, and the dryer buzzed. DS7 began to cry hard! I am a horrible, horrible mother, because I just . I couldln't help it! I asked, gasping between chuckles, "Did the dryer scare you?" and he wailed, "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeees!" So I snuggled him, hugged him tight, and giggled and tried to calm him down. Oyyyyyy, are they ready for bed or what?

Thats okay! you should have seen me roll off the couch the time Alex came running into the living room to tell me something... Then turned around, and ran straight into the wall! He was fine, but it was SOO funny!

Oh yes.. I've been spying on JackJack -- I searched for prior threads..

He's a guy, married, has a cat that climbs in and poos in his sink, lives somewhere warm because it was 82 degrees today, works with a bunch of women (estrogen overload) and knows some guy thru a co-worker (wife's co worker?) that was shaving his arms and chest.

ohh and he's a wise ssa and posts on the losers thread... he's our kinda people

I'm cooking some Fettuccine with mushrooms from Trader Joe's. It's frozen and you just add 2 tablespoons of water to a pan and just cover it and stir every few minutes. It cooks really quick. It says there are no preservatives, artificial colors or flavors. I hope it tastes good.

My MIL called when I was hunting down my drug of choice.. why now?? I'm in the middle of a deal





anyway, the whoel family is coming in june for a weekend- we had told MIL earlier that we can't find an 8 passenger vehicle without spenidng over $400 and they should rent a car.

Now we ALWAYS help them deal with things like air tickets and directions to the airport.. so it's not like they had to figure it out themselves.
More on this later...

MIL asks if they can do a cab instead.. WT?? umm it's over an HOUR from LAX plus we are going to the beach and who knows what else.. ummmmm it would be cheaper to rent a car.

I explined how much it would probably cost and she goes on with "well driving there is such a hassle" and "we're country people and I don't want J to get smooshed"

umm ok??

well, we drive here all the time.. yeah it sucks but you're arriving at night so you won't have rush traffic.. "well you guys drive there all the time..." umm yeah, but we've been here less than year.
I finally get easperated and tell her "I'll talk to E and we'll figure it out" and somewhere along the way she says reaaaaaaaaaaaaal quiet



"I never rented a car before"



But it didn't click at the time.


Get home, tell hubby.. he calls trying to get hold of his borhter.. instead calls his sis.
