Annie we land at 9:30. If you decide to do ME we could be riding together. If you get a car, are you doing packie run then?

Well, I can say it now since its up and public knowledge....DH and I are doing the podcast cruise in May of 09! No Kids!

And yes - I was thinking that if we could get a rental car for what the DCL bus xfers or a limo would cost then yes, we could just get the darned thing at MCO & stop somewhere on the way to the resort - then we'd be set for the entire trip - and so yes, IF THIS IS WHAT WE DO, we could pick up some Sam & Kaluah too (we might have to have DS carry a few things too)! I'm thinkin' we can get a mid-size or full size (whichever) car (with a one-way xtra charge to drop off at the port) for somewhere between $125-150. The ME bus is free but there would be a charge to go to the port if we did the bus, right? So we might almost break even. I just gotta find the right deal... But I also haven't called any limo places yet either.... I like how the ME bus thing takes your luggage for you....but it also takes forever it seems to get to your resort....the car rental MIGHT be just as quick?! It's gotta be easy enough to do, right (renting a car at the airport & getting to WDW)?! I mean, thousands & thousands of ppl do it every day, right?! Surely we could do it without ending up in Miami, right?! Anyway, I'm talking about this like we gotta decide NOW! (No, I'm not anxious!)

So, what's the Podcast cruise about? Is it like the DVC member cruise only it's all podcast listeners? (whatever that is) How many days? (Wonder or Magic)?

Its a 4 night cruise, May 10, 2009. They don't have the whole ship chartered or anything like DVC does (I think thats what they do), but the podcast team will be there and they are setting up events and stuff.

DH is going to Colorado tomorrow for business, so when I found out about this I said, yep, I need to go...its a requirement for business. I never thought it would happen. But my Mom volunteered to take the kids so it became a reality.

Prolly as in not gonna happen. It had to be on a specific day and time (as per DCL) ...and we just don't have enough time to pull it off properly.

I was checking out a back2back trip report from 12/1. The author talked about leaving laundry in to wash while getting off at 9:30am, rechecking in and re-embarking at 10:20, before the terminal was opened to everyone else. I guess they let the "back2backers" on as a group. She talked about "forcing" her kids to take pictures around the empty ship. <thoughts to all the places and ways to take pictures forming in my warped mind>

She also mentioned that her room stewards had made up their rooms first so they could get to them even though they had to switch rooms - instead of having to wait until 1:30. I suppose they needed to not be out in the hallways as those are roped off. (We'd be .. um.. busy entertaining ourselves anyway).

So here's hoping...

HEY ya'll...

What's goin' on? I can't get into the peeps website from work... I saved it in my favorites on my computer at home - so I'll have to wait until this evening to check out all the excitement! I can't wait to see what this body part thing could possibly mean!?

OK, so the LONG range (15 day) forecast is looking like mid-60's daytime & 40's at nite for our trip...I was really, really, REALLY hoping for mid-70's during the day tho! (Wanted some pool time!) I hope they're "off" a little as our last nite (the Princess & Pirate party nite) they're calling for only 38 degrees! I know it's a long time off yet and too far to be accurate BUT....can't help but check on it everyday! I would check the July Bahamas weather too if I could! I really missed my calling in life...I should've been a full-service gardening/landscape/travel agent/meteorologist (a GLTAM)! (Or a MAGLT?) Hummmmmmm.....maybe for my next career!

I tried to log on last nite after we got home from DS's swimming but the DISboards were SO-O slow my computer timed out! What's UP with that?! Anyway, he seemed to enjoy this new class we put him in - at least he appeared to be paying attention to the instructors...but he's so skinny he keeps losing his trunks! DH is always giving me crap about him losing his pants & stuff but he's only like 54 lbs soaking wet! And he's tall - so NOTHING fits him right! He looks like a skeleton but I can't help it! I try to feed him fat as often as I can! (I think all it will do is clog his arteries! He doesn't gain an ounce!)

Im glad the class went well, Annie. When I signed my kids up for swimming, Colt wouldnt get in the pool. He did fine the first week or so then he refused. I still have no idea why as he loves to swim (you will see on the cruise), we have a pool, hes not afraid. It was just one of those weird things!

So, I just dropped DH off at the bus. Hes on his way to Logan AP, then off to Colorado for a couple days. UGH!

Website looks great Cheri - and what IS the deal with the no batteries on planes thing? GOOD GRIEF!

CamColt - got a JetBlue question for you! Since they have all this technology in the seat (TV screens on the backs, right) do they provide you with headsets? Do they charge a fee for them OR if we have some old ones from like AA or whoever can we just use those? Just trying to decide what to pack (or not) in our carry-on next week! Thanks!
