um already had that on the new "issue" of the web site (to ask about them anyway). I think it's a great idea. I'd love to leave mysterious sumthin's... only problem is I do not sew. I bet we could make up something though. Whatcho think?

OK, so I just happened to check flights on Kayak.com today (day dreaming) and Air Tran had released their schedules out to Sept.! I am chomping at the bit let me tell you! They have one round trip that has decent flight times and is only $199 round trip + a $10 fee for assigned seats & the taxes etc. - comes to $210 ea.! We've never used Air Tran but I hear they're OK. Maybe more prone to schedule changes than SW BUT - and this is big - they are a participant in the onboard check-in service that DCL now offers! So basically, they take our luggage that last nite & we never have to touch it or see it again until we get home!! DH says book it & be done!

CamColt / SueEllen - any reason you know of that I shouldn't go with Air Tran? I will probably book it after dinner.....'cuz I'm ANXIOUS!! I called DCL awhile ago...now I'm excited...we can book Palo & excursions on April 21st! We have 2nd dinner seating so she said we'll repeat restaurants on nites 2 & 3 and nite # 3 is the Pirate nite so we'll book Palo for nite # 2 - which is also "dress up nite" so that's cool...done deal! We'll let DS eat with the Club that nite I guess...

CamColt - more info. about this stoopid, stoooooppiidd beer delivery.... Had some more posts on my thread that said no they wouldn't leave the beer with Bell Services blah, blah.... so I emailed this Garden Grocer place...they WILL leave it if you fax them a copy of your ID when you place your order...but there IS a $40 min. grocery order too + there's a $12 del. fee! So we're talking about paying $52 on top of the beer?! Ummmm...not lookin' like such a hot plan to me anymore! NOW I'm thinkin' maybe we'll hire a car from the airport & get them to stop OR maybe we'll just rent a car ourselves from MCO - drive our little behinds to AKV and then we can stop ON THE WAY to AKV for the beer - and then we'll just already HAVE the car to drive to the port!! What do you think? I just need to price rental cars now!

Hummmm Another quiet evening out there....

Well. I did it. Booked our flights for July! I just closed my eyes & hit pay now! That poor credit card just can't get a decent break! I don't know if I could've beat the $210 pp grand total or not if I played the waiting game - but DH really wanted me to get us on one of those participating airlines so we wouldn't have to schlep the bags & pay the tips to every Tom, Dick & Harry that helped move 'em! So I figure if we waited for SW & it was $20 cheaper but then we'd spend that much in tips...so whatever. The deed is done. 161 days!

OK, so when I was on the phone with DCL I went ahead & added their trip insurance to the 3 n. cruise now that I know I can't get one policy to cover BOTH cruises. But so I hope that's not a problem for DU?! She said she could do it or I could have them do it & I was like well, I'm on the phone with you NOW so just DO it and be done! I still have to insure our points for the 4 n. cruise...but does this screw up paying off the balance as far as DU is concerned?

Next question - since our 4 n cruise is covered by points it's already paid in full so I know we can book anything we want at 90 days on that one. But so does the 3 n one have to be paid in full too in order to book any excursions or anything (since technically we can book those at 90 days but the bal. isn't due until 75 days out...)?!?!?

Where is everybody? Why am I always out here talking to myself?

I know Castaway Cay members can book things at 90 days rather than the 75 days for first timers...but what I DON'T know is if the balance has to be paid off first!? If the balance is due at 75 days....then do they make an exception for CC members to make ressies before paid in full?!?! Since our 4 n. is bascially paid if full with our points that one's not a problem... I just don't about our 3 n. one.... We'll do Palo on our 4 n one I think...

We're scheduled to leave here at 8:00 & land at like 10:10 or something I think... I am pricing car rentals thru Costco...looks like they may not go beyond 6/30 right now with their deals...online anyway...may have to call them for the low down! I think we will probably be booking Palo for night # 2 on the 4 n. cruise. She said since we have a late dinner seating we'll repeat our night #2 restaurant on the 3rd nite...and that's the Pirate nite...not that we'll be all decked out in pirate garb - just don't want to miss the menu / party & whatever....

Another cruise already? Without us!? Which one did you book and for when?! I'm jealous already! Now you'll have another cruise meet to join & you'll get us confused with them blah, blah, blah!! Annie - for car rental deals also look at rental cars dot com and bidding for travel dot com. People have been bidding and getting rental cars for about $15/day in Florida. Might be worth a try?

And booked a hotel for Disneyland!! Cousin is meeting me there to get the special Police/Fire tickets currently available. CA Peeps we will be staying at the Sheraton 2/8-2/12. We have some family obligations but maybe we can meet up for a drink or a meal?

Also was just at Old Navy exchanging a pair of pants for long legged daughter and found really cute tank tops on sale for $5 - can you say the Caribbean is hot in July! I plan on packing 3-4 pair of shorts, a couple of bathing suits and tank tops. No formal night right? So just a few skirts or sundresses for dinner and pirate garb. Annie you are kidding about not dressing up for pirate night right? - we will make fun of you if you don't.
Oh yes and flip flops and sandals! pretty easy yes.

So - no formal night. Check. Yep - I could pack tomorrow. Don't know what DH is gonna wear though. Guess I gotta work on that. Got Ryan and Linden some cute clothes when the Disney outlet rolled through town. Gonna need bathing suits for them, water shoes and a BEEG VAT of sunscreen. Best to be waiting for beginning of summer sales. But the bikinis have arrived in our Target - 45 degrees, pouring rain and gusting winds. Yes! Let's go look at bikinis!

Betsy is doing alright....she has her meds!

DCL house party had to be forgotten...Beano has been too busy, so we haven't been able to do anything about.
