OK, so in my mind, I'm picturing almost a bib type thing - or maybe like one of those long BBQ aprons with assorted size pockets to hold your snacks....but then with a really big pocket at the bottom like on the Home Depot work aprons (to CATCH the snacks and save them from hitting the floor)?!?!?

OK, sorry - I'm slow... (I usually just call 'em bo__bs!)

Well, I'm saved at work tomorrow...the daughter of my co-worker had a C-section - so she'll be staying in the hospital for a couple more days...so the lady at work will be in on Fri. & will take off again next week! My get-a-way plan is back in effect!

Doing laundry now...DH is going out to meet his poker buddies for happy hour - so I can pack in peace! (Not like he'd offer to help if was home anyway!)

OK...any word from Johnna?! Hope everything goes smoothly for her........

Lucky, lucky you! Are you going for an entire week?!

I'm excited that we're finally down to only 5 weeks!! I can't wait to eat at Boma! It's my fav!! We got our premium annual passes, our pirate & princess party tickets and I've ordered the DDE card that will hopefully arrive just before we go (we'll see if that's worth it or not - dunno yet - I wish it was valid in more places)! We're new at this DVC - A/P thing & I'm not really digging the idea of having to carry all these different cards - I liked having one KTTW card that did everything! We had orig. figured we'd go to Universal for one day this time but I think we've decided that we've spent so much $ now on this premium A/P we'd better just stick to WDW and not rack up any more expenses!!

We go Thursday to Delray Beach to vist my aunt (havent seen her in almost 20 years). We are staying 1 night there then Friday morning we head to WDW for 4 nights at Pop and 3 at the CR(for DH's birthday and our anniversary). The following Friday, the 27th we drive to Tampa Bay, or actually I think its St. Petersburg, for the Red Sox/Devil Rays game. We spend 1 night there and come home Saturday. So, what started out as another trip to WDW has become a whirlwind tour of Florida, LOL! As for anal stuff...Im trying to figure out now what everyone is wearing when so I can start packing (and yes, I will iron most stuff too).

And as for my opinion on the DDE card...LOVE IT! This will be our last trip with ours and its been great. The first trip we had it for we had the free dining plan and we still came in saving just a few cents under the $60.00 we paid for it. So right there we about broke even. We (or I alone on 1 trip) have had 3 more trips since, with one more to go. We have saved a total of 239.66 (-60.00 to be accurate) so far. The best part I have found is they take it at a lot of lounges. When you have 2 or 3 adults buying funky expensive drinks it really adds up.

That would be most excellent! It could be the 1 year and counting meet!

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll have time (God, I sound like a big snob, don't I?). We are going right to my aunts apartment from the airport and will only have a few hours there. If she feels up to it (shes not in the best of health) we are going to try to get out for dinner, possibly Bostons on the Beach (real original for us, I know ), but we wont know until then. Then in the morning we plan to be on the road bright and early. I just think where our time is limited with her if I told her I have to go to meet up with friends, she may be a bit put off, ya know?

How many years?

Awww thanks, Ronnie Jo. It will be 12 years on 7/22 (DH's 39th bday is 7/24) . We are planning a night out of dinner at YSH then drinks at Jellyrolls (my mom and niece are coming along so they will take the kids that night).

As you can tell we like going away during this time frame, hence the cruise next year.

When you check in your room keys, which double as your credit card will so designate that you are a DVC member so you don't need to carry that card with you to get the discount. That should help reduce the number of cards that you need down to 3. AP, Room Key, and DDE. I hope that you have a wonderful time.

I love chip & dale! they're always a riot!

OK, the laundry is basically caught up, the car is pretty much loaded up - except for the cooler & water & our duffel bags! The bigger bin was too heavy for me to carry alone so I had to ask DH to help get it into the truck when he got home from his happy hour...he is "asleep" on the couch already...afraid the snoring will be like thunder tonite!!!! Gotta go get him upstairs...

Ouch! Buzz just jumped (shoved off) my lap & put a pair of scratches across my leg! Arrggghhhh! Blood!! NICE. Just what every girl wants the day before she goes to the beach, right?!
