Happy Birthday Kimmy from The White House!

So what's goin' on this weekend? Anybody doin' anything EXCITING?! Let's see...we're getting our mid-season sprinkler check tomorrow morning....one of DH's poker buddies is turning 50 so we're going to a surprise party tomorrow nite....and then Sunday some medical technician lady is coming at 7:00 am to do bloodwork etc. for some more life insurance (I know, I know - you're all jealous that we get to get up at the crack of dawn on a Sunday after being out the nite before so that we can pee in a cup for a stranger!)

It is supposed to be a nice weekend so I am also hoping that DH will get motivated enough to set up that silly tent that I bought tomorrow so we can put the waterproofing stuff on it! Hummmm. (How much nagging will THAT take?!)

It is supposed to be a nice weekend so I am also hoping that DH will get motivated enough to set up that silly tent that I bought tomorrow so we can put the waterproofing stuff on it! Hummmm. (How much nagging will THAT take?!)

Yep - jealous. Blood draws are especially grand on Sunday morning!

Nagging...hhmmm depends upon who will be sleeping in the tent. If he will be using it I am sure he will see the sound thinking behind the waterproofing. OK who am I fooling.

But football hasn't started yet...so maybe there is hope.

This weekend....dinner with friends tonight. Most likely some cribbage. Saturday - um..chair rail in baby's room. Then some crib installation. (that would be DH job) Sunday - DD has birthday party 11-2 and then its next door to a BBQ/BDay party at 3.

Oh and downloading pictures...doing that right now!

We have a DATE tonight! The dog sitter we used a last week has a 15yo daughter that babysits!! So we are going out to dinner...woohoo!!!

DH and I just can't figure out what "adult" restaurant we want to try..usually we try to eat someplace without a wait cause Kate loses her patience when it comes to eating...we actually might sit in the bar and wait for our name to be called....how very exciting!!!

Hello from Plum Island,Mass, i am writing this from the patio of our vacation beach house, letting everyone know we got here ok, and are ready to relax and just enjoy the beach, and lots of wine and Coors Light will be flowing.

CamColt: We passed by your town today on the way here, if you are still interested in a pre-cruise meet let me know and we can set something up.

I wanted to post pics but I forgot to pack the cable for the camera to computer connection I will post them when we get home...

Things I have learned today:
1) it's not good when you get this on your computer screen "Now commencing a dump of physical memory."

2)Two PMS'ing children makes Mommy want to check into boarding schools - for herself

3) Breyer's No-sugar added Peanut Butter Tracks ice cream is awful (even after the 5th or 6th bite)

Fortunately, said children are sleeping away tonight, there is a Travel Channel show on some residential cruise ship (The World?) and there is a bottle of wine chilling (hurrrrrrry up!!!!!). The day has been saved

(RJ- Timmy can't believe Kimmy spent "all day" shopping. "I mean, how does she do that?" Poor boy - so much to learn.)


Neighbors are having a "4th on the 1st" Party tomorrow. when I called to see when to come, my neighbor said, "whenever you want to start drinking. It's all good." I love my neighbors.

Good morning!

Betsy - hope you had a good "date"! We went out to our friends 50th b-day party last nite - left DS with Nana for a few hours. Kept things pretty tame since it was on the other side of the county (too far to drive "impaired") and we had the medical tech coming this morning...now that's done & over...whew!

Sean & Linda - have a great vacation - would love a week on the beach someplace! Our next door neighbors have a place in Bethany, DE and just left to go down there for 2 weeks...must be nice 'eh?! She emailed me last nite...she said she forgot to pack any of her bathing suits (she just bought 5 for a trip to Cancun in April)! Now she'll have to buy more...poor thing!

Well, the tent is UP in the backyard and has had some waterproofing sprayed on the seams. Hope we don't need it but I guess you never know...hope we did it right. The instructions on the can were pretty vague...so we just did the seams. I need to get a larger tarp to put underneath...

Alright...on with my morning...

I used to play competitively at the national level - (ok, not as glamourous or masculine as boxing or karate perhaps...)

But I placed in the top 50 out of 1,600 at the Reno invitational a few years ago.

Hummm. Dunno what else to do - will try to send again...but they looked fine on my end...I always reduce them a little so they don't get stuck in my email going out. Never had any problems before. ANYWHO, just sent them again w/o reducing...let me know if it worked OK or not....

Tried to download photos from camera today. Um...camera will not turn on. Charged battery.....nuthin'. Gonna call Canon USA tomorrow and see what's up. Bought camera in September right after previous Canon came home from camping trip with DH - wet and not working. Dang it. Baby is due in 20 days and we have no camera.

Must go to Costco and have pictures on memory card transferred to disc. Yay something to do tomorrow. After OB appt. Yay!

Finished chair rail in babys room today. Painted waincoting in DD bathroom today. No pictures to post. Woe is me.
