Hello DIS Dads:

It has not been more than 2 weeks, and my DD (just turned 3yo) is asking me to bring her back to WDW. Now that is a daughter that likes to follow in her father's footsteps. Take care.

Sounds like you're raising her "right"... :lmao:

We were there in December and my son still has not stopped asking me to bring him back. :thumbsup2

Hi Dad's...super busy and not much time for chat. I had the chance to chat with some of the family while they spent the long weekend in San Diego. While John struggled on the golf course, everything was great and they had a blast! Justin Timberlake was especially gracious and played golf a couple times with John and spent time with the family.

It was a chance of a lifetime and they made the most of it. There are some pix and stories all over the net...here are a couple links.

A personal thanks for taking the time to help me and a friend. It means a lot that you all took the time to help someone you likely will never know have the opportunity of a lifetime. And last...John is scheduled to be on the Today show Friday morning. If I learn of a time I'll pass it along.

pixiedust: to all and many thanks

Team Dads:

Unable to go to the WORLD this summer so it looks like I have
to think I'm there by making Mickey waffles and the offical treat!!!

DOLE WHIP!!!!!!!!

DW found a Co. to order the mix and used her new Ice Cream maker
last night for a special treat. She ordered enough until we can
have the real thing on our 09 trip.

I guess I'll close my eyes and imagine.

International Dr is very long so it depends on where you are going.

Go down Hotel PlazaBlvd (deadends at Crossroads)> Go Right on 535 (get in left and go under I4) > Go Left on Vineland and follow that all the way around to S International dr.

The easiest is Cab ( not sure of cost) . I will try to put my Local.Live maps of WDW in my sig and you can find it from that.Click on WDW SAT MAP

Might also look into a 1 day rental at a DTD location or on-sight rental place. We use the Dollar across from the marketplace bus stop

Often, that left onto Vineland can be really backed up. I usually go past that intersection and make a left onto 536 about a mile down the road and then another left onto International Drive just before the enterence to the Greenway.
Also coming back from International drive via Vineland, the traffic backup to get onto 535 is even worse.
Just IMHO that driving a little out of the way to keep moving helps keep my sanity in check. I hate being stopped in traffic sitting through multiple lights.:furious:

I don't remember if I posted this here yet or not, (old age setting in) but my DW and I had our closing a week ago Friday on our DVC resale at OKW, as of yesterday morning, we still have not been put into "THE" system. Once we are, then we can start making plans for our trip "HOME!!!"

  Congrats! :thumbsup2

I'll have to remeber that. I stopped going to that Publix on Vineland because of those RedLights and turns at that spot. I found it much quicker and easier to get into and out of the one pass the Gaylord Palms
