Very cool.... now if there were just a phone number on the side, I would know who to call!

Oh, and just to clarify... it's the ghostbuster car, and not the Burger King we are supposed to be looking at right?

Siting in the living room watching Paton while putting together a new grill. Was going to spring for the big green egg but since I am repairing/remodeling a bunch of house stuff including a new kitchen I decided to put it off for a while. Gave up on gas and bought a decent sized Webber. After years, finally going back to charcoal. It will be broken in tomorrow or Monday with a couple of slabs of ribs, home-made baked beans and roasted corn. Depends on when a few friends can come over. DD and her friend are vegetarians so have no idea what I am going to cook for them. Probably soy burgers and dogs. Yum.

Life is good. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

My son was struggling when he called us about this yesterday. He had just left Boss's office and was pretty well devastated. He had gained a tremendous amount of respect for Boss the past 6 months and this decision only amplified that feeling. Boss put the team above his own career despite being asked to stay on. David was going in today, on his day off, to help Boss pack his things and carry them to his car. Chapter two for him will begin Tuesday with the arrival of the new, interim Boss (Capt. McWherter), who served as the Blues' CO the past 2 years. Hopefully, they will begin doing air shows again in a few weeks. Now, it looks like we may be planning a trip to Rochester in mid-July but that may all change between now and then. Fly Navy! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

"boB, we're promoting you. You team is changing, so, we need you to be the leader in title, as well as in practice"
On my team of 10, there is 1 Account Manager (the team leader, as it were), Senior Account Coordinator (If the AM manages the client, the SAC manages the team members), and 8 Account Coordinators.
For 6 years, I've been patiently waiting for "my turn", and while always letting the powers know i'm interested in more, I've never let it get me down when people newer than I were moving up faster.

But none of that matters right now. I'm the NEW Senior Account Coordinator.

I've got my Balvenie 12 yr :drinking1

Thanks guys! I'm pretty stoaked.

This is tremendous news, congrats! Great to hear you get rewarded for years of hard work!

David Robinson and the Dream over Shaq? They are not even in the same discussion.

You're right in the fact that Shaquille isn't any where near as good as a center as either one of them. Shaquille wouldn't even make my top 6.

No worries, I won't. Was on once already, now in line for TSMM while I wait for my FP return @ 10am. Was a 30 min wait for TSMM, but by now its probably up to 45, 60 or more. Everything published said the park opened @ 9, but they were letting people in without a rope drop feature @ 820 when I arrived. Pretty cool. The first one was awesome. Can't wait to see how it differs the next times...

. No, but I wish. The work part of this trip begins Mon night...

Thanks Barry!

Congrats boB!

Have you seen P&B or Perry yet?

Both Robinson and Hakeem played both ends of the floor and didn't have to be protected at the end of games, to keep from hurting their teams at the free throw line.

David Robinson had more of a power forward game than center. The great centers - Shaq, Kareem, Wilt, and Russell all were able to play on great teams with other great players to win championships. They did what they did, and deferred to others when needed. The run that the Dream had those 2 championship seasons, especially in the playoffs, was remarkable. But, would they have won w/o Drexler, Horry, and Cassell. Shaq is still my pick.

Nemesis theduck to try another basketball discussion after the last one? :confused3. So, who are you're top 6?

I must admit I've never seen their show, or care, but for you... I looked and they are not on the character meets list on the Times Guide, nor are they in the Disney Parks Mobile info yet. Soon though I'm sure.

I will say though... Star Tours five, yes 5 times today baby. I worked the FP timing and got to do it that many. Standby waits up to 2 hours today. Very crowded, but not Easter or Christmas crowded. Gonna try for one more, the psrk closes @ midnight tonight. I'm pretty tired though so maybe not. We'll see.

5 times - Very cool... is TSM more manageable with the SW crowd? And is Star Tours heads and tails better then it's predecessor?

I'll have to go back and catch up later. Just checking in to say they found a mower and I'll be getting it next week. We went and saw Hangover 2 last night... wild and funny, never thought a sequel would work. We're at the drive in now waiting for POTC4 and Fast Five to play. Tomorrow I'll be at the race. Busy weekend but lots of fun. Catch yall later.

Awesome! I'll be checking that out!

Honestly - I have no idea.

I only went on it once, at about 9am this morning. The stated line was 30 mins, but my wait was closer to 20. When I got out, it had already jumped to 65 mins, and FP's were up to 12:30 - 1:30. The park was very crowded today, but not Easter or Christmas type crowded. Star Wars Weekends was certainly adding to that crowd level. I think it will "help" TSMM, but I don't think it will alleviate it as much as they might have been hoping.

And is Star Tours heads and tails better then it's predecessor?[/QUOTE]

I would say yes, but that is of course just MHO - you might think otherwise. I am sad that the original was not cleaned up, converted to 3D and added in to the rotation of possible scenarios.

It was fun seeing some of the little tributes to the original in the queue, and it was cool seeing how it plays out.

I won't spoil it for you all - but I will say just a few little things:

  • The new version is much smoother. The hydraulics are more fluid, and therefore less jerky and harsh at times.
  • The 3D glasses are also very cool... way better than the things they give you for the other various 3D film attractions (Muppets, EO, etc).
  • The appears to be 5 sections in the attraction that have different, random possibilities. Of my 5 trips today, I saw 3 different sections at least twice, but I'm not saying what the repeated things were. When I get back over there tomorrow and again on Monday, I hope to see even more.

Chamberlin
Russell
Dream
Robinson
Ewing
Walton

All played defense, could shoot free throws, were excellent passage and did more with less.

Morning all... Headed out to golf for the first time this year... Let's hope I can get around without killing anyone...
