BigTex71: Sorry to hear about your trip postponement, but I think the Man Law has been laid down on "Family time first, Dole Whips second".

Gaming: So is it wrong that the last time I got into a Multi Player shooter game it was the original Doom when I was in college. We would take over the computer lab every night at 11:00 pm with 16 workstations and we actually had a sign-up sheet for people to play.

Work: Just realized one of the pitfalls to this job I have. I have to get on a plane tomorrow to head to a funeral on Thursday. DW is now scambling to find a last minute sitter for the kids tomorrow as she has a school board meeting. As for me, I get to log 6 hours of flight time, a night in a hotel and going to my client's family funeral. I feel bad about having to drop that bomb on DW.

Right now is a proud time to be a Reds fan. They just lost 3 out of 4 to the frickin' Pirates and on top of that, Mike Leake gets arrested for stealing $60 in merchandise from Macy's.... Seriously?!?!?! You're making almost a half mill this year alone and you're stealing T-shirts from a department store?!?!?!

ETA: Have a quick question. Our Norton antivirus is coming up for renewal in the next month or so. Do any of you have recommendations for something that will do the job that Norton has done but for a cheaper price or even a free download?? I feel like Norton totally bogs down our computer, especially when it is doing a scan. I downloaded AVG for the kids computers, mainly because we didn't do any kind of money dealings on their computers, and it seems to have worked very well, but I'm leery about doing AVG on our computer because we do a lot of financial stuff on it. Suggestions?? Would the AVG work for us as well?? All opinions are welcome.

We have made the switch to Microsoft Security Essentials since we've been running Windows 7 on our laptops. Very lightweight and seemless with the operating system. It's even caught some nasty spyware in action! Best part - it's free!

Hey dads! Hope all is well with everyone! Haven't been on the boards recently so I could spent quality time with my family in Ohio. Now I see I need to go back about 30 pages and get caught up on the happenings. I'm sure there is a new member or two I need to add.

BTW... I finally have the quote back from the print shop for the window decal. Depending on the quantity purchased, we are looking at about $1 a piece. With stamps at $.44, we are looking at $1.50 for the first decal, then $1 for each one after that. Not sure how many I could ship in one envelope... need to get the weight first.

Here is the decal I submitted for the quote. This image is a little larger than actual size as I asked for 3" x 3". I'd be happy to send additional designs for more quotes if anyone has ideas.

I was skype(ing) the other day and realized I have a big white board behind my head...so being Disney obsessed I drew two big black ears on the board behind me. So when my head is off to the side it looks like the kids were drawing on the board..but when I set up straight...
