Well, it looks like DW has made the final decision on our upcoming couples trip: we will not be going to WDW for 5 days celebrate our 40th birthdays next month. She wants to do 3 days in Las Vegas instead. I can see her point of doing something different and all, but our APs expire in June and we don't have any other plans for visiting until the summer of 2012. Grrr!

But I am sure I will have fun in Vegas. We have both never been there, but have wanted to go for a long time. Maybe I can win some money to put towards our next Disney trip.

AJritz. I can't yet post to disdads.com, but a podcast idea are Disney World moments you haven't experienced, but would like to. I have 2. First, I've never ridden Mickey's Phil-har-magic (is it a ride or show?), And, second one: On the DVC video, they always show the couple on a balcony watching girraffes (sp?) and having early morning coffee. I would love to hear from someone that's done that, so they can tell me it IS as great as I'm hoping. So... just as a suggestion on topic.

If you are going to disney world in June around these dates June 3rd to June 11th I would like to have a disdads meet!! Maybe meet in epcot where the beverages are yummy! IM me I think it would be Fun:thumbsup2
Sorry Carl, that's a day late and a park short.:confused3 If only you were one day earlier.:sad2:

I am NOT making any promises whatsoever - but in looking at my calendar earlier today while scheduling various customer visits / site tours / etc... that particular time frame happened to be penciled in for a Florida visit. Now of course, the rule is, if I'm within 200 miles of a Disney park - I'm there... but - it's still a bit early to tell if it will pan out. So I'm not even remotely commiting to anything as a lot can happen between now and then - but it is entirely possible that I would be in the vicinity (and of course making time to visit the Mouse). If so - then I would love meet you.

The world famous christopher wouldn't miss it for the world.. If you do come..... With your family.. Our kids could entertain each other while we support all those countries (with beverage consumption):lmao:

That sounds like a tragic loss.. By one day? :(

It could be worse than blown engines, when DW started watching she picked Alan Kulwicki as her driver. A month after he passed she decided she would root for Davey Allison, the after he died she decided to be a fan of Dale. I'm really surprised he lasted as long as he did:eek:.

You made her stop watching NASCAR right? LOL

I will be there on the 3rd, but at MK not Epcot:sad2:

Well then we may be able to arrange for a meet.. We are staying at the poly.. And have arranged for an off day at the resort for that day. Rented a pool cabana for the day.:thumbsup2

Well again, just like the wicked stepmother, who said Cinderella could go to the ball IF she got all of the chores done, and found something suitable to wear... I'll be there IF the work schedule comes through as I mapped it out yesterday (was working on March - July at that point). I'll keep you posted as it gets closer though. That'd be cool, even though it would just be me. I hardly ever take family along on work trips - even when a work trip includes a stop at DL or WDW. There have been a few exceptions, but those are usually just the opposite... family trips with a work component added on. This would be a work trip with fun added on. :) Besides - the we're going as a family in 4 weeks, and again in October.

Thank you so much!!! :thumbsup2 :cool1: if you have not noticed it is liked by many! :worship: the original is awesome but you gave it a stand out twist!!

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Glad you like it! I REALLY like the original, too... and honestly it's the best one to use for t-shirt screening due the number of colors. BUT... I do like to add that DIS green every once in a while :goodvibes I'm just glad Aaron knew someone that came up with the awesome logo!!

WDW Commando Club if it doesn't show up search my name.

I totally agree it should be a longer trip:confused3

Maybe we need to teach Ron how to add links to his sig... maybe? :confused3 :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Credit where credit is due - the logo design was all prattpak. It was actually designed by his brother, who does graphic design for a living.

So true...I actually work for a very large electronics/gaming company that happens to own a music label, television studio, and movie studio (I'll let you figure out which one;). While I am proud to work here, and love a lot of our products and services, every once in a while something new comes out that just makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. It's so frustrating.

Try working for the Government...:lmao::lmao::lmao::yo-yo::badpc:

On the Commando Club thread, there is a member that is doing a trip in April that is every Commando's dream, well anyone's dream come true:confused3

They are doing 11 parks in 4 Countries, in 13 days:cool1:

They have been to a few WD parks overseas before, I can't wait to hear the details from this trip:yay: It will probably be amazing:goodvibes

I swear I just don't see how you guys do it...:rotfl2:

I'm jealous of the Bristol trip... never been there, but it is definitely on the list. If I ever get a chance I will.

I like the way you think, but if that's how it is gonna work with the shrub, save a few of those DNF's for the chase.:rotfl2:

One of the driving instructors at FLETC is Kyle's Gas Man...he and I went back and forth all the time:rotfl2: Contrary to popular belief, he's not a bad guy:confused3:confused3 (but I still pull for him to blow up:lmao::lmao:)

Well now I've been corrected :thumbsup2 Will remember this for future reference.
Tell you brother I said thanks, Mark!

You run up and snatch that silly thing off his head and I will personally make you a name tag that states your title sir.

:yay: Second this! :worship:

Easy fix...REGISTER

:eek::scared1: WOW... that's a bit morbid.

All I can say is as a former fan (only because I don't have the time to watch much any more) of Open Wheel Racing I love having one of "our guys" on my team in Montoya. He's given me the edge in 2/3 weeks.
Yeah, I like open wheel too, it just doesn't get any respect/media coverage ever since the split.

:sad2::headache: Been there, done that, moved on to a real job. :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Yeah, I know what you mean... I'm sure Tom Brady isn't a bad guy, but I still hate the Patriots. Kyle's talented, there's no question there, it is just that there are usually about 42 other guys on the track that I'd rather see win.

Sorry she said no to Disney, but I think you'll have a good time in Vegas. I went for the first time over this past Labor Day weekend and it was a lot of fun. I would definitely bring some good walking shoes. I think the most fun I had was the first night when we just went around walking through all the different Casinos taking in the atmosphere. Some of them have theming on par with a Disney park. Of course it also involved grabbing a drink in each one and we gambled for a little while in a couple of them. I'm not much of a gambler though.

Easy there....in my line of work, they pay the best:lmao:

Yeah, not picking on your line of work at all...

I was doing audits for the USDA... it was a running joke that if you worked there more than 5 years, you'd never be able to do a "real" job ever again.

I got a better offer and left after 4 1/2 years.:rotfl2:

You got lucky by six months....:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

It's been 10 years for me, so I guess my lobotomy has been completed:guilty::rotfl2::lmao:
