Crud!! I missed the DDC Homage to American Idol...what happened??? How did I miss this???

You didn’t really miss anything. :rolleyes1 That’s just my interpretation of the little episode a couple of pages back where lines form a couple of the more “memorable” tunes from the parks started getting quoted and the resulting commentary reminded me of some of antics I’ve herd about on “Idle”.

I think so:thumbsup2

So far I know I'll be at the Ralph's World concert in May. Hunter is alittle groupie and has a ongoing joke with Ralph:lmao: He's also on his fanclub page 3 times:cool1:

Alot of the Concerts are not annouced yet, but hoping for Choo- Choo Soul, Fresh Beat Band, And another one of Hunter's favs with a on going thing is Jack Hannah, hope they will be there this year:woohoo:

:confused3 I just can't imagine what the hullabaloo is all about... I mean, afterall it's just one little spark of inspiration... :rolleyes1

Had to order a new phone for my wife tonite, seems like she dropped it into a bowl of soup:lmao: probably couldn't do it again if she tried, bowl is just a hair bigger then the phone:scared1:

Beverly! FIL and MIL got the kids Disney tickets for Christmas and are taking them for a week this summer. Why am I annoyed? They got free dining and are in the 180 day window and don't want to make reservations. :scared1: DW offered to make them, but they said they will just wait and see. They are going to end up eating at 9 PM, or trying to convince my kids to choke down the "wurst" and sauerkraut at the Biergarten :headache:.

:scared1: Getting ADR's to prime places is half the fun, I like going for the most bang for the buck (last 2 times now I had to pay for DP)
Try to get the 1st seating (5pm) so you can get back to a park quick is my goal, the later the dinner, more chance of wasting time because of a backup:eek:

I agree with you, do not understand why you would want to wing it:confused3

I do the same thing. I try to get the early ADR as you can usually get in with no delay.

Heading to WDW next week for four days. If any DisDads are going to be there, let me know and maybe we can meet up.

Amateurs... :sad2:

Tomorrow is my daughter's birthday. We gave her a choice between having a party or doing a day trip, and she (woman after my own heart) chose a day trip to go see the Statue of Liberty. So, we've got all our reservations made (you have to reserve tickets to climb up into the crown) and will be heading up to NJ bright and early tomorrow.

The forecast is for a high of 37 degrees and a "wintry mix". Which I translate to "cold and wet". :headache: So the moral of the story is, don't have kids born in February. :sad2:

I'll try and do a mini-TR after we get back. :thumbsup2

Sounds like a fun day... Wish I wasn't working, I'd drive down to the city for a little DISDad meet!

What else is on the agenda?

They need an intervention...and quickly!:scared1:

Ahh, so this is why I can never get the 5pm reservation...you guys have it!:rotfl:

Unfortunately, they aren't amateurs. They usually visit every other year and my 1st trip was a graduation present for DW and I when we finished our degrees. It wasn't a pleasant experience  and I was not a fan for several years until I recovered from that trip.

everyone seems so excited about this game.. I cant even fill my football pool! still have 30 squares. interested? 10 a square.
We have a pool at work... just doing $1/square though. I ended up buying 10 just to fill it out. I don't think there are really a lot of people that excited about it around here. We talk about it, but nobody really cares who wins. We don't have the Colts to root for and don't have the Pats to root against.

Sounds like a fun, yet chilly, day. Tell us all about it and I expect some good movie quotes.:thumbsup2

That stinks. It would have been cool to meet up!

I don't think we'll actually make it into the city. Our tickets get us on the ferry from NJ at 11:00, which is just when we enter the security line. We'll go to both Ellis Island and Liberty Island, and we're doing the (gulp) 350-step climb to the crown as well. I'm guessing this will all take a few hours by the time we're done. My old roomie from college lives near Edison, so we're supposed to meet him for dinner at some point. That ought to fill the day.

Yikes! That makes it worse!

Yeah, I like both teams. I'm just hoping it's a good game and the commercials are funny.

I will do my best!

(You could have said, "I just want to say good luck...we're all counting on you.")
