I think new DVC'ers who buy direct the min. is 160pts...add ons I believe can be done in increments of 50...

my advice....RESALE!
you will save a boatload of cash....now if you gotta finance, then I think direct, cuz they will finance you, unless you go to an outside lender..
you can get a loaded contract off resale, just gotta be watching, and by loaded, I mean it has 3 yrs of pts on it.......

Stopher, did ya get me pm, I can't tell if it got sent or not???

I did. Thanks. Put your # in my contacts, and have the schedule info you gave me. Probably will be Sunday, or maybe Monday - but have your wife text me, or just call me. Either way.

Welcome!! pixiedust: (Sniff, sniff... What's that smell??)
:lmao:

:dancer::welcome::dancer: To The Dis Dads :cool1: Emma's Dad will be around to give you your official #:yay:
Thanks!

Welcome Matt! I've seen you around commenting on some mutual friends' TR's, good to have you here as well!
Glennbo and Liesa if I'm not mistaken.

*We don't have officers.
:thumbsup2

Welcome! Can we rename you Great Air Biscuit?
I certainly wouldn't be the worst thing I've ever been called.

Hey, Matt! Welcome! I worked tech support for an internet service provider for 3 years... don't want to do it again! :lmao::lmao: Congrats on the new TV! :woohoo: We're looking for a new one...possibly this year. Not sure if we are going to look at the 3D TV's or not. They sure are impressive in the store! Another crop duster!! :yay::yay: :rotfl2::rotfl2:

You are member # 554! :thumbsup2

:welcome: WELCOME TO THE DIS DAD'S CLUB! :welcome:

You have been added to the DIS Dad's Club list :thumbsup2
Thanks! Tech support is certainly a lesson in patience. I salute you! We did not go for the 3D - still a bit too pricey and I don't trust the technology to fully take root. Not yet anyway. Crop dusting should be an Olympic sport.

WELCOME MATT!!! flatulates and mocking, two things we do well around here!! :lmao:
Excellent!

I've seen the tags, but haven't had a chance to seek you out until today. I love the criteria list and found myself checking off several. My first name is Matt and I'm planning for summer 2012 (mini family reunion trip.) I work in a tech support call center for a wireless provider in the Public Safety division (supporting smartphones & mobile broadband cards for police/fire/ems/military/govt accounts.) I'm also the media pastor at church (I get to play with all the cool toys), my wife and I have 2 daughters ages 8 and 6 and I just ordered my first HD TV today. (I gotta say I'm pretty stoked about that.) I feel the urge to flatulate when ever someone sends "pixie dust" my way and I enjoy mocking those who take themselves too seriously.

Great...... the infamous GB is here... there goes the thread! :sad2::sad2:

Just kiddin'.... :welcome: to the nut house!

One thing in particular that impressed me with the Christening of the Dream: they had a pastor say a blessing for the ship. In a world where every company seems to be so "P.C.", I like that they did not skip this tradition.
Kudos to Disney!

Word on that.:thumbsup2

Been there, done that a few years ago. Not the best thing that I've ever gone through, but definitely not the worst either. Actually, it was much easier than I expected. And you are correct. Thank God for insurance.

Flying down tomorrow night. Can't wait. Unfortunately anticipating rain on Friday and a chance on Saturday. Haven't packed a thing yet; trying to decide on how to pack with the questionable weather. Have your number in my contacts, Stopher. We'll probably split HS and AK on Saturday. Give me a text when you get to the parks and we'll try to meet up somewhere. Check back in with everyone on Monday evening.

I got a 55" 3D Toshiba for Christmas. (Well, I ordered it off amazon.com on Christmas day, got it hooked up 2 weeks ago)
I wasn't going to get the 3D, but with the sale Amazon had, it was only $100 more than the comparable 2D, plus they had a deal where you got a 3D capable BluRay player and some glasses.
I watched most of the BCS national championship game on ESPN 3D, plus I've seen a little bit of the Harlem Globetrotters from when they were at Disney's Wide World of Sports. Both were pretty awesome! The glasses are a bit on the heavy side, but not too bad. (they are "active" glasses, which means they are battery operated and alternate opening and closing each lens very rapidly in sync with the TV):3dglasses
It's not like Mickey's Philharmagic where jewels are floating in the middle of my living room, but seeing a football field like that really felt like I was at the game. It's like Cam Newton's dad was right there, asking me for a bribe. :rotfl2:

Well that explains the Cheeseball Finger Prints on the inside of my TV Screen. :confused3

...and your Packers 2 wins away from a title...

Well, that and the prospects of beating the Bears on their home turf this weekend and bringing the Lombardi trophy back home in 2 1/2 weeks. :woohoo:

Curse you Captain Oblivious and your Monkey from the Frozen Tundra!!!
Now I remember why you are my nemesis.

Da Bears!

Never underestimate the power of Ditka's 'stache. It will impact Superbowl outcomes 25 years into the future.

If it makes you feel any better Dave, when I was young I had a bad reaction to Penicillion (spelling is way off I think), but it ate the enamal off my teeth, I'm luckey to have a great Dental Plan :cool1: I've had at least a dozen root cannal's ( had 3 going at once one time) and have over half my teeth capped, There's nothing I can do about it, nomatter how well I keep up with them:scared1: I've probably had about 75K in dental work done in the last 23yrs, once again TG I got great coverage. But on a sick note I kinda like the feeling when they file the root:scared1: The Dentist say's I have a high pain tolerance:lmao:(root canels are 2 visits including caps) But then again my father does not even take novicane:eek: I don't know how he does it, but I guess the apple dosen't fall far from the tree:confused3 . I go next week probably will be getting new canines this year.:confused3

Hey! Keep me in the loop here :thumbsup2 I'm sure we could cook up a meet sometime in there.

Don, I'll keep you informed, between this trip or our late Sept. Hollowscream trip I hope we can meet up:cool1:, But if you can't maybe that will be a lottery hit again:confused3:lmao:
