glad you guys had a good time. we had pass's for the 6:45 candlelight proc. last night. we went to america theater at 5:30 to find the line was just a little past japan.
we had great seats and as always its was a great show. dress warm today, its only 39 out now and going to 58.

I'm home guys, back in Indiana. It was another great trip to Southern California. Disneyland. Good friends. Making new memories. Disneyland. Reliving old memories. Disneyland. California Adventure. World of Color (5x). Staying at the Grand Californian. Family time. Great food. Disneyland. Time with coworkers. Celebrating my 10th anniversary with the company (Wednesday) while there. Disneyland. Adding some new Disney books to my collection. Oh and did I possibly mention Disneyland?
Now it's two sleeps in my own bed... and then a trip down to Walt Disney World. Can't wait!!!
As one of the newer members, I should of taken some more time to intruduce myself.
My name is Mike and I am a 32 year old teacher and coach in Iowa. Which is waaaay to far from Disney for me. My wife is also a teacher and we have an 8 year old daughter and 3 year old son.
Our only trip to the World was 3 years ago at Christmastime and we are dying to get back. Ok, I am, the wife not so much, but she enjoyed the trip, but not as much as me. It's amazing to see it through your kids' eyes and see it for what it's worth. It only took one time to truly see how special of a place it is. Hoping to get back within the next year by sticking to our plan to get a bigger house before our next trip...which is probably the "practical" thing to do, but how fun is that? My daughter and I love to revisit the World with all of your great trip reports and making our to do lists before our next visit is even planned.
Thanks to you all for letting us live vicariously through you and your trips....we LOVE it!!

Glad you had a safe trip down and are having fun in the world right now. When are you heading back on the 11th?? Might be able to make a special trip to Emporia for a quick meet or something. (Roll the 12 days of Christmas music here) 5 dads a meetin', 4 without a hat on, 3 without glasses, 2 fans a blowing... and a DIS Dad meeting success! OK... too much holiday music been playing lately!

Best time was when we were in MK on the 1st and Jodi (DW) turns to me with a big smile and asks "Can we come back next year?" Man I love her.
I guess I won't have to worry about shorts for Wed when I arrive. I can probably wear the same clothes I will have on when I leave PA (jacket included) to the park on Wed by the sounds of things.
Oh well, at least I'll be at WDW and not at work.

....pretty cool seeing the dis dads meeting each other... hope to see a few of you guys when I go.....It is already starting to be a crazy week for me since the birds play the cowgirls this weekend....and everybody I work with are cow fans and when I say everybody I mean everybody all ten of them...So hopefully Vick and company can not make me feel like an *** come Monday...UUMMMM my last post was like VICK for MVP....where is Manning know

i was on the tour, had layers of coats on amd my hood up and someone tugged on my sholder, its was barry!!! hes good, picked me out of a crowd and didnt see my bakd head.
