:thumbsup2Mark, I must say Del. has the best roads that I have traveled on the east coast, most are concrete, no potholes and are a good ride, aren't you in the road Dept. Kudos

:worship::worship::worship:

Thanks Ron! I can probably count on one hand the number of positive comments we get at the highway department every year, so thanks for this one! :goodvibes

Didnt feel right post this with my prev. I have completed my booking in Feb. and we are there for 8 days. IM READY!!!Started booking my ADRs and have CRT, LeCell, and SciFI. We have not eaten at any of these and was looking for some feed back. LC is a lunch res. I have learned that opinion are like bholes and some stink worse than others. Just looking for some kind of consensus about these restaurants. Opinions welcome

I'm always amazed at some of the venom you find in restaurant reviews, as though the restaurant staff had come out and spit on their ancestors' graves. Like Barry said, I've never had a bad meal at Disney. It takes a lot for me to complain. At worst, I just say, "It was decent, but I don't feel the need to hurry back."

I haven't eaten at CRT or SciFi. Le Cellier is a favorite, though. Some people say it's no better than Outback. Well, I kinda like Outback. And the steaks I had at Le Cellier were better. Plus, the cheddar cheese soup is one hot steaming bowl of awesome. :thumbsup2

Just booked Grand Gathering for my family! March 26-April 1 at POR! No discounts, but that was the only time everyone could make it. 13 of us in 4 rooms. Can't wait 'till 9/27 to make ADRs!:cool1:

Anyone have experience/tips on navigating WDW with a group of this size? All info appreciated.

Whenever we've traveled with groups, we've set a basic rule up front: you do what you want to do, we'll do what we want to do, and if we happen to be in the same place at the same time, great! We were down at Disney with friends on our last trip and tried to be in the same park each day. We would do a couple of the big rides together to start the day and then do our own thing (our kids are younger than theirs). I think that's really the only way to handle it and keep things sane and friendly.

I spoke with Debbie last week and she said it was ok to post it again.:goodvibes If anyone would like to get a copy of WDW Best Kept Secrets Document, PM Dcanoli and ask her to send you a copy, Tell her you are from The Dis Dads ( she's expecting us:goodvibes) The only thing I ask is that you are polite (not worried about that being a problem here) include your email addy, she will get it out to you:cool1: It has alot of great info, she does a great job putting it together, updated all the time:woohoo:

Don - might want to post this in the posts of intreast section:thumbsup2

Page 1 updated :thumbsup2 I had forgotten about this awesome document! Good stuff in there.

Or, just get a Brazilian flag on a long pole and have everyone follow you that way. :rotfl2:

:lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2: Thanks for the morning monitor spray! :rotfl:

Ok Dads....Tell me if I overstepped my bounds here....I sent an E-mail to Michigan International Speedway about the horrible rendition of the national anthem for the NASCAR race on Sunday...this is what I wrote....

Never out of line when standing up for what's right...can't believe you got attitude from the "President" of MIS...maybe you should forward that e-mail to NASCAR?

I went to a NASCAR event at Bristol...I was BIR then not BMS...don't remember the year 1990 something...but it was the Spring Race...anyway the singer for the National Anthem was Lee Greenwood of "God Bless the USA"...up totally missed some of the verses...like left them out. :rolleyes1

Just wanted to give an update on my shirt.

Any dad who wants a shirt might want to try again. Just try what I did an leave the word "club" off the Dis Dads. Worked for me so who knows.

Trip for 4 to WDW; $3500
ADR booked at 7am 180 days in advance: $1500
Plane ticket per person: $456
Having an acronym for CRUD:.......PRICELESS!!!
:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Seems about right.... except for that $460 plane ticket! :scared1::scared1:

You flying first class or something? :rolleyes:

No just from Colorado. See we are much higher then most in elevation so it takes that much more fuel to get this high so therefore the extra charge. Its all in the matrix they use, very complicated stuff.
And we leave here at 1am to get to WDW by 9am! Dont want a wasted day flying. :rotfl2:

Post something on the League site. I know I'm open to rescheduling the draft if we need to.

Pool Team? You mean like synchronized swimming? :rotfl2:

By that logic, flights out of Denver should be 1/2 of what they are anywhere else. Think of all that fuel they can save by just cutting the engines and gliding down...

Mark, I'm sorry to bring you off your high, but I saw this web comic today. It fit so nicely, that I had to share it.

.

Hey Barry did you ever see a over 40 yr old synchronized swimming team? would not be a pretty site to see. I think I would do more "sinking to the bottom" then I would do swimming.

I could change the draft date, but I already have changed it to Sept 1 from Sept 2 because of a conflict.

I could change it to the 8th if there are no conflicts.

Please let me know,

I'll be in WDW w/o Internet. Leave the 3rd...won't be back until the 12th.

Have a dinosaur Cell phone too...best direction to go is backward toward today...not forward toward the NFL Season.
