I check out IGN.com as a part of my daily internet routine. Stumbled across this artice regarding the re-do of Star Tours. Some of you may already know this, but since I didn't see any discussion on it, I thought I'd post the link. Your thoughts?

That sounds great. Can't wait to see what the new plans will bring aboout!:thumbsup2
Oh yeah - me too. My DD was thrilled sure, the rest of the family - not so much. Nice to see someone with cajones standing up and saying wait a minute - enough already with so much princess crud.

I agree with Mr. Staggs! Plus, as my daughter will attest, not all girls are into the princesses. Honestly, I think she'd rather do the pirate stuff anyday. :thumbsup2

Good news on our vacation front! Southwest just lowered the prices on our flights to $69 each way. And I have already successfully re-booked so we get down there a few hours sooner and leave a couple of hours later, all at a lower price!:woohoo:

Now if I can just remember to use the credit within a year...
WOO HOO!! :yay::yay::yay:

Bravo Mr. Staggs!!! Cause that's "zactly" what I wuz thinkin!
Me too!

There may or may not be a TR started this weekend popcorn::

:cool1: if it does happen!

Hey gents-
I've been away on a little vacation for a while. Took a couple days to catch up on the 20 pages or so since I've been gone. It looks like it was a slow week except for:

  • Fed caught a camel

  • Trennr changed his avatar

  • We're prepping for the inevitable zombie invasion

  • Some good fart discussions

  • Stopher dazzled people with his better-than-wikipedia like knowledge of The Haunted Mansion

Yep, looks like a typical week.
Exactly!

Have a great weekend guys... I'm off to a special campout with my eldest where he is going to be inducted into a special Indiana honor society for Scouts. (I was inducted last month, now it's his turn. :) ) Won't be on the computer til about Sunday night or Monday... so no doubt it will be my turn to say CRUD. Have fun without me.

Sounds like a prestigious event! Have fun and we'll try to keep the chit-chat at a minimum while you're out (hehe) :lmao::lmao:

Good at it? I'm in it! My girlfriend in High School was Kiefer Sutherland's cousin so I guess that puts me at 3 degrees of separation, and now makes you guy's 4. Hopefully you guys will find that cooler than my wife did when I brought it up:rotfl2:.

I could die in a car wreck on the way home and be a happy man knowing this!!! :rotfl:

WELCOME!

Hey guys! With 30 days till my trip I've already got all the planning and arrangements done I've had nothing to quell my Disney addiction. Soooo I have been obsessively creating room decorations, a journal for DD and now t-shirts. Here is my latest creation, I thought you guys my appreciate it.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Good luck getting it printed, if you haven't already! You might have to do your own iron-on.

We drove up to Calabash this evening and ate at Ella's this time. It was pretty good and a lot cheaper than the bigger ones inMyrtle Beach

Our daughter's in-laws live in Calabash. We have probably eaten at Ella's but I can't remember.

CRUD - I’ve been pretty much buried this past week so I’m way behind. Let’s see…
The cliff notes version goes like this:

First: It’s getting a bit rank in here, someone open up a window and let in a bit o fresh air :rolleyes1.

Stopher (and the rest of ya’): Thanks for the great explinations of the DVC. Y’all got me thinkin’ about it now :thumbsup2.

Hottness: Humm… Audrey Hepburn, and yes, we all need help (Oh… Mary Ann & Betty as well ).

Welcome to our newest member (and another South’nr to boot)

Fed: "Lucille"? I thought I was the only one ‘round here foolish enough to name an inanimate object (Luv it).

Friday the 13th: We generally celebrate this lucky day in our house. Anything that can make so many folks so skittish without actually having to put forth any real effort just seems to be a great concept to me. :upsidedow

Expansion Rework: I’ve been saying the same thing for a several years now. Between the Camp Rock (1, 2 & 3), High School Musical (1, 2, 3, 4…), and the Fairy & Princess invasion, it seems Disney is just going for the sure money and that the Imagineers had collectively given up on the boys. I’ll be interested to see if this changes anything.

Congratulations to all the Scouts. Each of those accomplishments represents a ton of work. :goodvibes

Well… Guess that’s about it…

Oh yah… My boy has reached a bit of a mile stone. He qualified for a Driver’s Permit today (Lucky 13th). It’s been a while since I taught someone how to drive, but I want to go ahead and get started early. I figure that the more time he spends behind the wheel with a qualified driver in the car, the better off he (and therefore I) will be once he’s allowed to do it on his own. This could get real interesting real fast. Stay tuned…

Not just the boat:

Truck: Trigger (duh):lmao:

Primary Weapon System: Grace

Secondary Weapon System: Ginny

Several others that cannot be repeated here....:rolleyes1

I get carried away every now and then...:goodvibes

I'm wondering how that incident has left a woman in such a sad state of repair? I'm thinking there more to the story or something. Still don't think she'll be able to win the suit.

Did you happen to catch this story from the same news outlet:
Magic Kingdom Expansion Being Reworked

Wonder what that's all about?

:rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao::lmao: Something tells me you are pretty good at the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon game :rotfl:

i got the latest news from another site on thursday morning about f.l. expansion. it looked a little ferryish to me when i first seen it but i think its a good idea to maybe toss something in there other than more girly stuff. the way i look at it my dd is grown up and i dont have to painfully endure the newest attractions but it will, hopefully lighten the load on the hm, buzz etc...im just thinking of my fellow future dis dads who have to spend a week with tinker and her pals.:lmao: (nobody thought of me 15 years ago when i had to watch frickin barney over and over for years on end.):lmao:what ever they come up with im sure will be good. looking forward to the addition.:thumbsup2

As a fellow Scouter, congratulations to both you and your son.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 My oldest boy received his Chief Scout award early this year.
We're off tomorrow for 12 days - Poly followed by Wonder - so I'm going to say CRUD right now and get it over with.

So, we been sort of talking who's hotter, I thought I would bring out the classic who's hotter.

Mary Ann. Ever notice how how all the women are drawn in comic books? Super strong abs and arms, 0% body fat, except for the 38 DDs?

Although, lets be honest, the teen-aged boys still have Pixie Hollow... :rotfl2:

Hey, I love Pixie Hollow. My girls (8,6) love the Princess meals. I am all for them.

Crud:scared1: 2 days 5pages, hate to see how much I'll miss by Tues nite when I get back from the Del-VA trip, I'm thinking double or possible triple Crud:confused3

I have two boys 11 and 8 they still look at me like I'm nuts when I try to get them to go see Jasmine and Ariel. :rolleyes1

There are a couple advantages to having 3 daughters. I get to take multiple pictures of them with the princesses/fairies without getting that creepy weirdo look. :lmao:
