Geocaching sounds like a lot of fun. One of these days, I'll have to get me a GPS and give it a shot. I've resisted getting a GPS up to this points because...well, I'm a guy. I don't need directions. But I guess it's ok if it comes from technology.

Technology is cool!!:cool2::3dglasses

I just bought a TomTom. We were maybe planning a summer road trip and thought it would be a god idea. We went about three hours north of our home this weekend and spent the night in a little cottage/Inn, we did a little fishing and swimming and just took it easy for a couple of days. The GPS came in handy a couple of times!!

Don't kill it with logic:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Ya.. logic has NO place on this thread.:lmao::lmao:

I'm sure most of you saw the solemn, surprising news that Brett Favre has decided to retire. So, what's your prediction for the triumphant "I'm coming back!" news conference? I'll put the over/under at 3 weeks.

Also, which team will he play for after un-retiring?

a. Minnesota Vikings
b. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
c. Toronto Argonauts
d. Miami Heat

Not enough money in Toronto....maybe he will play for the love of the game....ya right!!

I am driving to DW the end of the month. I have heard good and bad things about the DW buses. We are staying at the All-Star Movie. My question is should I drive to the parks each day or take the bus. Any thoughts?

One thing you should remember about staying at any of the AllStar resorts, the bus stops at all three resorts most of the time, so you spend a lot of time on the bus picking up and dropping off people between resorts. But getting dropped off at the front gate is very handy.

who are the Argonauts anyhoo?

I'm so sad.....:sad2:.

Really? They have inns that far north of the Arctic Circle? :rotfl2::rotfl:

I still don't know why the Waffle House hasn't hired him as their spokesman yet.

Ya think that's far north?

Here's a link to the town I grew up in. Ft. McMurray, Alberta

The town motto was, we're not at the north pole, but you can see it from here.

Dude, any further up there and you'd be a Russian.

FED: It's a sad day for fishermen. I'm sorry to bring you this news:

Cheating Scandal Rocks Bass Fishing Community

And as a public service announcement, according to CNET.com, it is apparently legal to rip movies from your own collection of DVD's for your own private use on an iPhone, iPod, or other mobile device. There's a link to software you can get for free up till Aug. 9 to be able to do this simply by "liking" their Facebook page.

Arch - Rivals
BEST arcade game of the late 80's (early 90's)...

As previously stated, free parking at the parks, but for MK, don't drive. Last August, we drove to Animal Kingdom and it was great. Then, we rode the bus to DHS, and wanted to leave, but that bus was literally 35 minutes. 3 TIRED boys, 1 TIRED wife, and 35 minute wait... not cool. Bus to Downtown Disney, though.... parking there is rough in the evenings (after 7).
my votes would be:
MK: Bus
Epcot: Bus
DHS: Car
AK: Car
Water Parks: Car *with conditions.
DTD: Car before 2 p.m.
But, that's just me, and the rest of these guys have spent WAY more time in Florida than I have.

I'm in with the over........I'd like to add the par-lay of getting tears as well!

it's a toss up between C & D....

Didn't they sail with Jason to find the Golden Fleece? :confused3

FED!!! check this guy out!!! what we have here is a lack of respect for the law!!!:lmao:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHAHZyAsUiw

I got to give the guy some credit, he did some darn good driving, now if he was in a older model all done up with that kind of driving it would have been a longer chase, but any car is not faster than the radio, so your gonna get nailed one way or the other:confused3

Today is my DS (Hunter) 5th B-day, It's also his 1st huge hermit crab race in Ocean City NJ, we are going to hit the Rain Forest Cafe in AC on the way, and hopefully he will have a B-day win at the races, he's up to 6 crabs now (Blue shark, Big Bird, Leafie, Ben, Meatball & Nemo) 3 local champs, lets see if they can pull it off:confused3. I'll update you guys when we get back:woohoo:

Can't get Youtube in the office, so I'll have to check it out later---based on the other reactions, it must be a good one:lmao::lmao:

Wow just got to go fishing twice in the last three days. Love summer striper in the upper Delaware. This fishin has got me thinking of a Disney fishing trip in Dec when we go. Any possible takers?

Ummm...dude, you gotta' ask this queston?? (raises hand..me me me me)...need to check dates though

Really? They have inns that far north of the Arctic Circle? :rotfl2::rotfl:

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

That's so wrong man!:rotfl2:

This has been a hot topic amongst my fellow tournament fisherman.....Essentially, he is lucky he took off and did not have to face the wrath of the fisherman he's (probably) been cheating out of cash for the past few years...

It adds up, and you can really get tagged for this...considering you may win a $55,000 boat, you immediately jump to Felony Level...

This guy had been on a hot win streak-----wonder why that was?:confused3

"Get a Rope":mad:

Mike (Mijo) Congrats on your son being selected to the Blue Angels. I meant to write you, but my weekend DIS time is very limited. :thumbsup2

Thanks! We're definitely excited!:cool1:

Don't worry man, we've all been there....it suuuuuucckss:mad::mad:

This time of year isn't helping you any....night time is the right time for the basses in this weather (at least I have found)...

Eaaarlllyy in the morning (like right before sunrise when it's light, but not sun up yet) and late in the evening (just before blackout) are good times too!!!

You gots to tell me what you're doing up there:lmao::lmao:

I'll be driving down in Early Sept. 4-12.

My personality is such that I drive to the parks. At the end of the day I DO NOT want to wait for a bus to crowd on there with a bunch of sweaty strangers...done that all day in the parks.

For MK and EP the choice is...Monorail or BUS...Monorail wins!!! We park at the TTC/MK lot for both just to ride the Monorails...these are like some of our favorite ride. For MK we like to ride the Resort line...fewer people...and even with the stop at the CR...I think it's quicker on the way back to the TTC.

HS we have never made it a whole day at this park...so driving is a must.

AK Last year we were one of the last people in this park for EMH...we were in one of the spots within walking distance...but we were wiped-out...so we got on the tram...the route the tram take made our lot the last one they visitied...there was like maybe one other vehicle in the lot when they finally made it to our stop. The tram host was like...either you are parked in this lot or you just like riding the tram around in circles with us. :lmao:

Well... looks like I'm looking into a non-Disney vacation this next year.:scared1: Currently I am in negotiations with DW and apparently our marker has been stuck on a Tampa, FL location. She would like to see what Busch Gardens, Tampa is like. Soooo... now I am looking into hotels/resorts in the Clearwater/Tampa area. Anyone been to that area and have any suggestions?

Also... I was checking out BJ's Tavel Club and they have Carnival cruises out of Tampa to Mexico... and I found a 5 day/4 night cruise to Cozumel for $300 a person (Oceanview Stateroom). Anyone been on a Carnival cruise... to Mexico? I know I'd be better off asking this on a cruise forum, but thought I'd ask my trusty guys first :thumbsup2

If all calculations are right, I could do a 8 day sea/land vacation for less than $3K. Not too bad. BUT... definitely don't want to waste the $ if Carnival is a bad bet. :confused3
