Hello DDC!
I guess that I recently just became a qualifying member of the DDC. My DD was born into this world on October 5th. (I was awoken at 2am with the phrase "Honey...I think my water broke." at which point I realized I was either gonna be really tired at work the next day...or I'm going to be really tired at work the next 18 years!) I've been a disney addict ever since our first trip which was back during the Bicentennial celebrations in '76 (my mom thinks we went in '74, not sure).
Anyways, I read thru the requirements in the first few posts and realized I qualified when I lost count of how many applied...and I was only halfway thru the list. :confused3

Btw, we named our daughter Lorelai Isabella....or "Lilly Belle" for short. :goodvibes

Welcome aboard to our little group, and congratulations on the recent addition of Princess Lilly Belle to your family! Emma's Dad will be along to assign you an official number soon! We also have a presence on Facebook if you want to join in there also!:cool1:

Whew...I'm tired.

Got to Orlando this AM, went to the Disney stores at Prime and Premium outlet malls, then went to DTD. Got a lot of early Christmas shopping done.
Had dinner at Earl of Sandwich. Now relaxin' in my hotel room. Gotta do some work tomorrow, then fly home tomorrow evening.
(and have to cram everything I got into my bag:lmao:)

P.S. It's fun being down here, but not nearly as much fun as if my family was with me!

Hey Phillip

glad you had a nice time there even if you were without your family. We LOVE to eat at Earl of Sandwich during a trip there...I like the tomato soup there..good food and reasonible price to feed the whole family. We usually hit the outlet malls too and get a lot of shopping done also. This year instead of the regular October trip..we are going in December so Iam sure Santa will need us to help him while we are there!

:lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2: Best 3000 post speech yet!

HEY NATE!!!

You watch Jeopardy???

An answer to a question last night was CORN MAZE and I immediatly thought of you! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

:rotfl: A place where grown men ponder woolly worms...

We're in Chicago, celebrating the kids' birthdays. Had a great time at the Museum of Science and Industry and the Sears Tower yesterday. Last night we went to the Chicago Wolves / Milwaukee Admirals game. There were at least 2 major fights (each player got 5 minutes of shame in the penalty box), and at least half a dozen other scuffles that the refs broke up right away. Clearly, there is no love loss between these teams. Middlepat and I kept it civil, although he did try to pull my sweatshirt over my head and stab me with a skate. :lmao:

(And yes, I did notice that I am wearing the same Wisconsin hoodie that I was wearing while I met Tim in Disney World in March. I guess it has become my official DisDads Meet Up Shirt)

Awesome! You must have dodged the skate attempt with a well placed kick to the groin... or just a whiff of the shirt... not sure which would be a better defense there :confused3 :rotfl2:

:sad1: Not in my area. This is the ONLY movie DD has asked DW and I to see this year. She didn't even ask us about The Great Fairy Rescue when it came out :confused3
