well, to try to keep dw spirits up, i have laid out our dvc trips thru 2020!!! dec 2010 10 nights at okw and june 2011 we will be at the contemp.for a week for dd h.s grad present. after that, she will be off to school and hopefully work and probley wont be going with us that much anymore so we wont be getting 2 bedroom units and we need to spend our points.(sorry barry, i found a way to spend them.:lmao:) so here is the plan, oct 2011 1 bedroom for 10 nights at okw.than starting in 2012, we will start going in january for 7 nights in a 1 bedroom and in september for 10 nights in a one bedroom. we always wanted to do september but our dd school starts in september and january just to get away from the northeast weather for a week would be great. if for any reason dd can go on any of these trips, bumber,:lmao: just kidding, she is more than welcome to go but dad isnt buying anymore :lmao: since she will probley make more than me anyway. :lmao: we will just maintain the two a.ps and enjoy the next phase of life. :lmao: i always told dw, when its just the two of us we are going twice a year and you will find me sitting in one of two places. at epcot by the fountain, watching the people walk by or at the mk sitting in tomorrow land watching the people walk by.:lmao: she loved it!!!!:thumbsup2 thats why we never will get a devorce, what other spouse would put up with either one of us!!

Sounds like a plan to me. Mine will be in college in two years so I can't wait to go to Food and Wine which is impossible now because of school. Thoughts and prayers to your wife.

Very nice plan, I think I'll be on a bench over by City Hall watching the kids when they get their first clear view of the castlepopcorn::

Well, 2nd trip to the Dr./ER for us within the week. Saturday, DS took a cleat to the arm as he was playing goal for his soccer team. Kid came in cleats up and DS had possession of the ball while laying on the ground. Dr. decided not to Xray as the pain and swelling were lessening and he was able to move the arm more. DS's father ;) was not happy about the situation on the field. Luckily it was the so called "non-competitive" Y league. Had it been travel soccer I'm sure there would have been a red card issued; you just don't do that crap when the goalie has the ball.

Today, the same DS takes a line shot off of his glove thumb while playing shortstop. Can't even bend the thumb to put his glove back on, and it immediately swells. XRays come back negative but are being passed on to the radiologist in the AM for the final report. Lots of pain and swelling on this one, and he can't bend the thumb. At least he can still play soccer this weekend b/c baseball is out for a couple of weeks.

By the way, if you guys are still interested in giving a wedgie and locking someone in a locker, I can help with the locker :rolleyes1 We have 4 side by side that have been, um, "worked on" by the kids over the years that could easily hold an adult :lmao:

DS is still sick:confused3:confused3

He's getting better, but I'll have him at home (again) tomorrow...

Billy, no you do not do that sort of thing. I was a Striker in College and in the old USISL....that kinda of stuff got you either a) Punched in the face and/or b) sent off with a suspension...plus, it's just not cool:mad:

I'm now on deployment countdown...18 days....:rolleyes1

Fed my 2 year old started throwing up tonight. I am reworking my schedule to stay home with her. I look forward to the time together but I sure wish it wasn't because she is sick.

You know, I was thinking about this today...since Monday he has spent the greater part of the day(s) lying on the couch under the covers with his head on my leg watching tv...

All he really wants to do is snuggle up....

....and I LOVED IT!!! Wish he felt better, but I'll take what I can get at the moment..

Luckily I have lots of time...

:thumbsup2

The "Take your kids out of school" threads are taking off again....

Good Lord...:headache::headache:

Thanks trennr.:thumbsup2

Edited..

Hah, Page 75 OWNAGE...LOL

Free Dining brings that one up every time...guess I did too...a few pages back.

Yeah, but no one jumped on your case for it......

That's the deal, some folks go really over the top...

You were having a intelligent conversation.....they all end up looking like two teams jumping on an endzone fumble during the Super Bowl:scared:

(Have a much better analogy, but will refrain

You know I rarely venture from the Safety of the DDC.

Only other's I visit now are DDC TR's, the CSR FAQ Thread, the Caption Contest.

I will say this could be the only thread on the DIS that doesn't turn into a fight. I do appreciate everyone's different view points- even if I don't always agree. I love the group we have here and thank everyone for keeping it civil! :goodvibes

OK back to our regularly scheduled programming! :surfweb:

Ain't that the truth! As a relative newbie to the DDC, I still go out and hunt through the Dis, and it always "take your kids out of school", or "credit cards" or "Refillable Mugs", etc. It's a rough world out there, but I'm trying to represent as best as I can! But I always have to come back here for some sanity...:grouphug:
