Anyone else notice the fact that we have surpassed the 3000 post mark on this thread?

As I was bugging Daddy-O to sell Dole Whips at his restaurant, I started doing a little Googling about the product. You can get a consumer level soft serve machine for $87
http://www.cookware.com/asp/show_detail.asp?sku=CUI1032
And a bag of Dole Pineapple soft serve for $21.31
http://www.precisionfoodsstore.com/dole.html
The bad (or is it good?) thing about this is that it makes 2 gallons of ice cream.
Father's day is only 3 months away! Time to start dropping some hints to the family...![]()

Yes, and we've also above page 200... only about 1/5 (+/-) of the thread to go...
Arent we a chatty bunch....
We may have to request a sub forum somewhere if we keep growing in numbers and posts. I mean it is getting a little cramped in this small 1 bedroom basement apartment, don't you think?![]()
$¢®ew this hinting business...I buying one and 2-3 bags of the whip.
Happy Father's Day to me.![]()
I was up until just past 2 a.m. working on that hard drive. I finally got a Windows machine running pro-level data recovery software to "see" the drive and start the recovery process. It was a bit trickier than usual, because the failed drive was from a Linux machine formatted ext2.
I put the drive in an external enclosure and first tried connecting it to another Linux machine, but it failed when it tried to mount the drive. So I tried connecting the external to a Mac, and the Mac couldn't mount it either. Finally, I connected it to the Windows box, and the recovery software could find it. It's running cluster-by-cluster recovery now, and it looks like the most important data will be recovered.
Sounds like great news!!
Not sure what all of it means but it sounds positive.![]()

That would be cool to have our own sub, just think of the all the coral, sealife and places we could explore. Oh wait, sorry, wrong kind of sub
A sub-forum, would definitely be nice too. I mean afterall, with all of our own various TR's going on - they could all be lumped together into one nice new spacious place... just think of it, the zany stuff could expand so much. Although I wasn't really thinking of a sub-terranean pad myself - it's more like the awesome attic that Greg ended up with on the Brady Bunch. Just don't anyone bring along a goat...

Hmmm...seems we have now inspired the creation of a DIS Moms thread. Is there no limit to our power and influence?
I wonder what kind of WOMAN LAWS we'll be seeing from them...![]()
It's a great idea! But... I posed this question to the moderators of this board twice in the last year and my requests went unanswered.![]()

I remember you talking about that back when you were trying to get v3 set up, or maybe before that... even still it would be cool... but I suppose having a new sub-forum would require more mods, and they're busy enough. We're just fine the way we are![]()

I would volunteer to be a mod.... I don't know what the credentials are.
I think it wouldn't hurt to send another email.![]()

Interesting... It does make you wonder how often we are "lurked" upon each day... and how many of us will be doing some lurking of our own...![]()
I thought DIS Mom's was everywhere but here?![]()
