I was just thinking how lucky we are that WDW does not use ticket books anymore, like when I was a kid.
It must have been hell for our parents (my son wants to go on everything a million times) my dads wallet must have been empty by the time we left.
I don't know if they charged to get into the park or if it was ride tickets only
Yeah I think we got it alot better, if they still did tickets most likely, we would not get to go so often.
Not only that, but think of the logistical nightmare it would be for Disney. To have to check for counterfeit tickets at every attraction? Even if they were using the same type of electronic readers that they have at the front of the park - if one of those broke down or someone's ticket was not reading correctly it could snarl that attraction. I'm not enough to ever experienced the ticket books, but I can imagine how much of a pain it would be...
