Unfortunately (but fortunately) I answered 110 yeses out of 121 questions that were asked. So I believe I am well qualified to join this elite club. I want to start out by saying my favorite quote at Disney is "Por favor, mantenganse allejado de las puertas" and I blame my obsession on my wife and kids. The truth is, I feed the habit because I love it too. My family and I compete at the dinner table every night with Disney trivia games (WDW, movies, shows, characters, and any other related topics). I am a 34 year young male that feels like he is in his lower teens. The only advantage of being truely older is enjoying the beers around WS so I believe I have the "Best Of Both Worlds", if you are truely a DDC member, you would get the pun :goodvibes. We are going on our 5th trip in 4 years this coming March and looking forward to every second. We planned this trip while we were on ME going home in December. We have already have our trip after March already planned and I hope this qualifies me for the club. I am Mike and my kids call me "Goofy" :thumbsup2

WELCOME Mike! Emma's Dad will be around soon enough to give you your number.

Anyone here from DVCzerfs? I hope everything is okay.
So far, his nephew hasn't mentioned that anything is wrong with him. I'll ask him today at work.

Elite? No, Navy Seals are elite. Green Berets are elite. Heck compared to us, Girls Scout are elite. :rotfl2:

Oh yeah... you'll fit in quite nicely here! You are member # 422!

:welcome: WELCOME TO THE DIS DAD'S CLUB! :welcome:

You have been added to the DIS Dad's Club list :thumbsup2

Thanks for all of the kind welcomes. As you can see, my wife is the one that is on these boards the majority of the time, of course I am always looking over her shoulder while she is on :rotfl: I am glad that I found a place where I can talk about "Man Things" and still know that I am not the only one who has an obsession for Disney. And let me just say that it is really COLD here today, I live in a Suburb of Chicago and also work outdoors. I think my kids said that we have 39 days until we are in The World again....just hoping it is warmer than this 10 degree weather that we are having :sad2:. I think I may have to persuade DW into relocating to Florida :lmao:

Ugh.
Classic timing.
I just got all of the accommodation reservations taken care of for our big Disney trip yesterday - Concierge Level at the Poly with 40% discount PIN confirmed. Hotel room for the start of our trip at Wizarding World of Harry Potter reserved with Starwood points. Hotel room for "getaway day" at the Swan reserved with Starwood points (didn't want to pay the bumped up Columbus Day Weekend rate at full price at the Poly CL).

Today? My car is getting $875 worth of repairs done, and I'll need new tires by the end of next month.

Good thing we've been saving for this trip and we're not carrying any revolving credit accounts anymore.

Ain't life full of surprises? :confused3:confused3

I subscribed to TP for the crowd calculator.

And thanks for the VDay update. I've got the dinner reservations and childcare for tomorrow night arranged, but I do need to pick up a few small things. Totally slipped my mind when I got the call from the mechanic.

A face-down snow angel might leave a uniquely Valentine's Day appropriate "impression". :3dglasses
