Just wanted to make sure everyone understands that this is not a give and recieve swap, this is ONLY on a request basis. You will mail out books based on who asks for them and you will only recieve books that you ask for.

Make sure you note somewhere on the inside cover of the book, what instructions you have for your book. (mail back to you or keep passing it along..)

When you have books to add to the list, PLEASE PM me the list and i will add them to the main list found here.

It is so cheap to mail books through the PO. Just send it media mail. I have a pole of books, let me just make a list.....

It's a postal rate catagory from the PO. If you are mailing books, newspapers, ect you can mail at a super cheap rate!

We should maybe make some rules, right? I was thinking that you should mark inside the front cover "Part of the DIS Book Swap" and then put your address. Once it is requested, you mail it out. After that person reads it, they'll put up a post saying its available. If no one requests it in like 2 weeks, you send it back to the original owner. That way one person won't end up with all the books.

What do you think?

I know I have The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen, but I'll have to look around a little more to see what else.

A very good idea! for my books, i will write in the cover that i DO NOT want them back so just pass them along to Goodwill or another family member.

I will keep a running list of all the books available I will keep it on the first page AND update it as the pages begin to grow
