The different tier tickets for DL..

Can someone please explain the difference between them? I'm a NV resident and am hoping to go the first week of August. If I'm allowed I want to be prepared. During the pandemic last year, I imagined I was at DL during the time I was supposed to be there. I'm already going to imagine being there on reopening day, but I can't take another whole year of pretending I'm there. I need the real thing.

The tiers only matter for single day tickets. They were introduced February 2020 when the last price increase happened and are basically just an expanded version of the value, regular, and peak day tickets introduced in 2016.

If you are planning to get a 2 day ticket or longer, then you can ignore the tier calendar. Multi day tickets do not follow the tier calendar.

But if you're looking at a 1 day ticket, then yes, you'll need to look at the calendar. Tier 1 is basically the old value day ticket. Tier 5 is the peak day ticket. Figure out what day you want to go, look at the tier calendar, and buy the appropriate tier level ticket to gain entry for that day.

Then no need to worry about the tiers . Just buy your tickets and make your reservations when you're able to. I hope you're able to get your first choice!
