I am not good at taking notes so... I am going to give a brief overview of Day 2 at Disney!
I got a late start due to lots of office issues and decided to go offsite (EEK!) and show at the Premium outlets. Did not buy anything at the Disney store but did pick up a shirt and a nightgown at some other places.
I then went to Publix for a salad so I could get cash back (no ATM fees that way and took it back to the Wyndam for lunch.
After lunch on my balcony I went to Epcot. First I bought My Pal Mickey. May I suggest that if you plan to buy Mickey at Epcot get him at the camera center. I got him at MouseGear. They failed to activate him. It took the people at the camera center about 30 minutes to get Mickey working right . (Actually the manager had them get me a new Mickey from the box and start over!). Mickey is cute and tells the worst jokes, but I am enjoying him. Just in time for the great downpour. It storme and rained HARD for probably around 30 minutes. It seems that half the park was in the Rose and Crown with me, but I managed to get my beer and even find a seat. I watched the people watch the rain for quite a while. When it finally let up I decided that rumor had it that Mission Space would be open at 4 pm. So I went. WOW!!! I was lucky enought to meet up with three college students on the CP program and they adopted me. One of them was not able to ride due to health issues, but the other two and I had a great time. I cannot wait to do it again! This ride was just out of this world !!!! While in line for this ride I gave a pin to the boy behind me. He was very thankful.
I then proceeded on my groupie tour back to Off Kilter for the 5:30 show. It was a good shoe and I gave the little boy near me his first pin. He did not really know what to do with it, but his parents were very excited. I ate at the Lotus Blossom cafe and went back to watch the last Off Kilter show. I was sitting there finishing my drink after the show and I heard the sound guy tell another audience member that the band was off for the first time this weekend in about 6 weeks.
I then went back to the hotel and cleaned up and went to Pleasure Island. Saw a very nice set at the Jazz Club, did one Comedy Warehouse show and one mask room show at the Adventurer's Club. I went back to the Wyndam and watched the special July 4th fireworks (on July 3rd) at Pleasure Island from my balcony. They were great!
I did not make much progress on pin depletion Thursday, but Friday should be better.
