Hello Everyone:surfweb:

As I have shared with in a prior thread we are going to DISNEYLAND:banana:(can hardly contain my excitement) in May. I was wondering if anyone here on the disboards has ever stayed at the Anaheim Del Sol Inn? Can you tell me about your experiences, good or bad?

I've stayed at Tropicanna numerous times and never had a problem, but when researching hotel cost the Del Sol Inn was $300 cheaper and just a few doors down. The reviews on Tripadvisor seem to be ok no better and no worse then the Tropicanna. I get nervous about new hotels, but really want to cut cost and have more "play money" for Disney.

Thanks!:rotfl:

I stayed there a couple years ago. It didn't have good reviews so I took a chance. My room was very good which let me to believe it had just been rehabed but I couldn't find anything indicating it had. It was probably just very clean and everything was in good shape.

On the downside, the parking is very tight. The breakfast is typical, cereal, toasted bread, fruit, pastries, coffee and juice. The breakfast room is tiny so plan to take it with you. And also Harbor like the building is old.

I'd stay again if it's it's under $75 a night. It's nice to walk from room to crosswalk in under a minute.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I like the fact that it was very clean(I carry Lysol with me everytime I stay at a hotel)! That goes along with the reviews I'd been reading. I can always work around the breakfast as I usually bring stuff with me.
Thanks Skiingfast:thumbsup2

I stayed there in February. It was clean and quiet, although it was Super Bowl Sunday through Tuesday. We had a room all the way at the end on the 2nd floor so that was nice. If I remember correctly, the windows were the slotted kind and not a glass window, but that didn't bother me. But it was nice and cheap, it is set back away from the street. I would stay there again.
