If I had I may not have thought it would be a good idea to jump from my chest of drawers to my bed when I was a kid - slipped on my socks - fell on the floor - one fat lip and one swollen ankle!

Like a mailman...neither rain, or sleet, snow, fog or hail was going to stop me...and that's exactly what I drove through today to see the grandbaby. He's cute as a button...hope everyone had a good day. Off to go drink a glass a wine. My knuckles still hurt from gripping the steering wheel.

Glad you made it home safely Kristine. He's adorable!!

I remember seeing Tinkerbell on TV during the Chistmas Day Parade, it was towards the end of the show from DL. Maybe you could check with them. I also left a message with our DVC guide to see if he could help out.

Yeah, Tinkerbell is in the DL parade. I'll check with my friend who's DD works at DL and see if she's out at all. If so, I know plenty of weekly visitors who could probably help.

Busy busy week.
Packed up the hallway lithos.
About 35 to 40, all Disney.
Packed up the den.
Spakled all the holes.
Sprayed the texture.
Saturday I'll paint the den & hall.
Move the P.C's & desks to the den.
Then DH is moving into the 3rd bedroom.
We had used for the P.C's before.
He says he won't contise the D.
For now he's being so nice.
Even Ramiro thinks he's up to something.
I just hope it stays this way.
At least as long as we have to share this house.

That's an impressive amount of work done, Brendita. I hope the niceness continues and he'll be true to his word about not contesting.

I really enjoyed doing that book....'cause it was Disney, it was fun, it was easy, and it was DONE! I've made 3 mini albums (6x6) but my MIL's Christmas present from 2 years ago (a 12x12 album covering our Magical Gathering for 20 (10 of whom she had paid for!) ) still sits incomplete. Have enough supplies to open my own LSS but they hardly ever get used! Someday I'll get my act together!

Somebody asked about pens....I use scrapbooking pens 'cause that's what I have on hand. They're archival, too, if you're worried about that kind of thing. If not, Sharpies will be just fine! Sharpies are your ONLY choice if you're having t-shirts, hats, or pillowcases signed. Did everyone see the new colors they had for Christmas? Too cute!

DD and DS absolutely LOVE their book. They call it their "Book of Disney Friends" And the personalized pages got WAY more attention for them in the parks! Because our trips are more frequent and open-ended now (we go every other weekend or so for the day) and we don't spend lots of time hunting down characters, I don't have a book in progress. So now I'm taking the plain 6x6 paper on a clipboard We don't get near the interaction we did when we took the whole book with decorated pages. They were SO impressed with that. If you have time at all, print some or scrap some to take on your next trip! We're planning some "character hunting" days in the spring, so I'm going to make another book before then


In the mean time....booked a quick 2 nighter on CASH of all things for the Expedition Everest AP/DVC preview weekend Jan 27-29 Let's see....40 points for a studio in DVC or save those points for later and pay cash with the $88.05 AP rate (per night, includes tax). Cash it is! We'll be at the CBR. Haven't been there for 6 years now so looking forward to going back!

I Just thought of something!

When I go in December, the 50th anniversary celebration will be over. No more golden ears! I wonder if they will take the gold off the castle???

What is the theme of this year? What's new for October?

I'm sure that someone will beat me to the answer, but I'll forget to come back if I don't answer now...

The 50th celebration has been extended through the end of the year. Nothing has been announced yet for 2007, but I think that Epcot's 25th is coming up soon as well so maybe a mini-somthing then.

Okay heres a question for all of you that have made autograph books how many signatures did you end up getting.

We ususally end up with at least 40. Our record is close to 60. We actively try for autographs though so that could make a difference.

How about spending it on gifts for some other people - for xmas say and then use the money you've saved yourself to go buy something from another shop?

I just found out that my sisters use a make up they sell so I think that's what I may do. I just wish I had talked my sis right after I got it because that's exactly what her SIL wanted for Christmas. I think my sisses will be putting it to good use for me.

This is wonderful! Thank you so much. If all the other wonderful ideas don't work out, I will sign her book myself when she is not around. Really?? Well if I'd known it was about to finish I'd have gone and had a closer look! I got some pictures of the characters on the bus then legged it to soarin to beat the lines.

Are they going to replace it with something or just the new "room" you can go in where there are some lined up inside?
