Glynis- I will travel with you to WDW or DC if you'll fly Southwest. I can fly for free with them- as much as I'd like, so I could fly down to SLC pick you up and we could go! So- if you want to do WDW in January at the half, let's make a plan girlie!

Paul- my DH always comes with me. He'll sign up to do the half with me in January. You and your sweetheart should sign up too! Kate and her sister are planning on it.... right Kate and Nancy??? AND I'm trying hard to get Glynis there! Actually there's a few of us looking into it rather seriously. We could have a good contingent there!

Found ya! I don't post much, but do read nearly everything but even I got lost a minute. Glad to find where everyone ended up. See what happens when I spend a few weeks away.... one was at Disney but the other was with mom in the hospital so I guess that evens out. But we're back to normal (as normal as normal ever was anyway ) and I can try to get caught back up. I'm happy to see this is a trouble free zone, as with all the in our house lately, I need all the I can get!

...and just had to add.....you actually CAN stay before you close, as long as Disney already has all the money they're getting from you. We did! We decided to do a quick overnight and called to see if there was a room and if we could stay (we knew we could reserve...hadn't asked about staying) and they said that we could begin staying as soon as they had received our full downpayment if we were financing through Disney or the entire amount if we were paying cash or using own financing... Since we were paying cash I just had her transfer me to finance and had them charge it on my credit card (just to get the 1% cash back!) and we stayed the next night. Didn't actually close until a month later....

So Tammi, go ahead and plan away!

Well this thread is my HAPPY PLACE when I am not at Disney. That is how I feel about coming and sharing with you all everyday.

When do you sleep? Two beautiful young kids & 100's of amazing designs - when my two girls were young, I was lucky to get dressed during the day. Now you are thinking about designs for plates!

Tammi- I'm just catching up on old posts (Gonna take forever and this thread was just started today!!) but I wanted to say CONGRTAS TO YOU on your DVC purchase! It's the best thing we've ever done. YOU"RE GONNA BE IN WDW ALL THE TIME NOW- well, that is as soon as you buy your add on!!

I asked about this a long time ago (think back to September), and the gal who designed them emailed them to me. I still have her email address. If you're interested I could PM you her address so you could ask her. She was more than happy to share the characters with me.

DH is actually getting pretty excited about me doing the half. He's not too sure he wants to do it with me, but he is talking about going to support me. He even mentioned something about bringing the kidlets and making it our first WDW family vacation (after the half, of course). I have an appointment to talk to my doctor tomorrow, and I plan to ask him about this. If there's anything I need to be concerned about with surgery and all. Then I want to call my dad and ask him to do it with me. I think he would do it. If all goes as I plan in my head, I'll be back to ask about WDW stuff, where to stay, how far in advance to book a room, etc. I'm so excited to have a goal in mind!
