I need opinons on where we should eat this trip.

If you have the option in your schedule I would do as follows:
Thinking of LTT before MVMCP - good choice
Candlelight processional coral reef or le cellier - haven't done either
Hollywood and vine (JOJO) breakfast or lunck - I like early breakfasts before park opening
Princess Breakfast at norway or lunch - l prefer the breakfast menu
Chef Micky or Ohana Breakfast - Chef Mickey's
1900 park fare dinner
Crystal Palace Breakfast, lunch or Dinner - with the dining plan I'd go for dinner w/ prime rib
we have dinning plan so we will have 7 sit down meals. I also have a gift card for rainforest cafe should we do breakfast, lunch or dinner - to me, the breakfast here is the best! I  their bacon and the protions are huge

Wow, you have added so many new things to my list. I forgot we need to get a blue garter for Minnie. She has something new - her wedding dress, shoes, flower bouquet & veil. I'll have to get thinking about the old and borrowed. Maybe she can wear one of my bracelets as her necklace for the borrowed. That is also old, but I think there should be 4 different things. Hmmm. Think! Think! Think!

Forgot about gifts for the wedding party. Never heard of getting the parents something. Are these necessary? Ooh. Wait a minute, I'm the parent. That means I get the present. Yes, that is definitely necessary.

Wedding favors? Really? What are those? Who gets them? This is a new one for me. My head is spinning. Think I have the beginning of a headache. What was I thinking? A wedding? At Disney? I think I'm going to lay down for awhile.

What about a pair of earrings?
I gave m mother a poem in a frame and DH did the same. I don't know where the poem is, but if I find it I will send it to you.
As far as favors go, they can be anything form candles to candy to candy covered almonds in tule.
Has Minnie even looked at a bridal magazine? Is she registered for gifts? How am I to send something if I don't know what they need or want?
Does she have a checklist yet? This is not a fly by night operation is it? :rotfl:

Thank you for all the kind words regarding Bill....for those that asked, not sure if it will be pills or injections, we have to go see a specialist first. Now that I am over my initial shock, I am trying to be upbeat for him because right now he's pretty negative.

Thanks again!! You guys are a GREAT group!!!!!!!!!! :teeth:

Kristine

Kristine,

I think finding out one has diabetes hits everyone differently. I know my sister was in denial until her first real bout of fainting and needing help getting something to eat and drink. She how takes medicine and does the testing but it was hard at first.

Chuck & I like LeCellier. We will definitely be back there at least in March. Not sure about the December trip since we have ressies at Concourse Steakhouse with Stephanie & her sister so we may try something different rather than having steal twice in 5 days. We've never done Coral Reef. I may check this one out in December.

I didn't realize that Crystal Palace had prime rib at dinner. I think we'll give this a try. We are seriously considering the DDP for the December trip. I talked to Chuck about it last night. There are some places that I'd like to check out and probably wouldn't do it any other way. It looked like it only added $300 to our total package for 5 days and I think we could spend more than that if we went to some places that I'd normally not go to.

Well, it started out being just a small, simple affair but with all the enabling going on, it has taken on a life of it's own. :lmao:

I am off to drive around town and get things done before I pick up Ellie.

Have a good day all.

I do too! And even worse, I was told that we had it off and then just today that was retracted. Several people had misread an email. So...now I'm stuck coming in. :sad2:

I'm so sorry that you have to work especially after thinking you had the time off. How awful for you!

Tonight Julie, Jennifer and I took Amy to the Cheesecake Factory for her DDA baby shower

Amy looks great and was overwhelmed by our gifts -I took pictures of her opening them

she is going to be induced next Friday (the 7th) and she is hoping to have the house all settled by then -

We had a great time at dinner

Amy doesn't have internet access so she wanted me to make sure that I told you all HUGE thank yous and that she loved everything!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing the pictures, Kate. It looks like you all had a great time!! We have such talented DDAers making so many cute gifts.

I just wanted to share my "thank you" cards with you! We'll be leaving them with tips!
They definately arn't professional, but still fun and took me forever to find the right program to use so they printed onto business cards!

Those are really cute, Chanon!

Ok, for those that have went (or are going & have been planning) in December, what are the things that are different for Christmas. Chuck & I want to make sure that we see the things that are different for the holidays. We don't want to plan on many attractions unless they are different for Christmas. We will definitely do POTC because it is new and we can't wait until March. We will do Swiss Family Tree House at night because MK is so beautiful from there at night. So this is what I know.

MK:
MVMCP
Stage show (can't remember the name)

Epcot:
Santas in World Showcase
Candlelight Processional
Illuminations

MGM:
Osborne Lights

Resorts with decorations - which ones? I'm thinking the Polynesian, AKL, CR, and WL for sure. What other ones have the over the top decorations?

What about Fantasmic? Is that different at all. I really enjoy it but don't want to take the time away from the Christmas stuff since we'll be back in March to see it.

We'll see the Electrical Water Pageant & Wishes from the cruise. We may go to MK for Wishes from main street but not sure yet.

What is on your list of "not to miss" for Christmas?

I really got to get moving on the planning for this trip. I still don't have ADR's.
I was so concerned that we might not be able to go that I hated to even look at planning it. However, Chuck is showing much improvement so that I know we can go so time to get in gear.

Chuck got his blood tests back. All of them were negative. We talked to his sister who has a doctorate in nursing. She says these are the bad ones. However, that means we still don't know what is causing the arthritis that showed up in the x-rays. So it sounds like more tests in two weeks.

His knee is feeling better already. It doesn't show any arthritis. We think it was just a side effect of walking funny because of the arthritis in his spine. He has a staple in his knee from when he pulled the ligament away from the bone in a water skiing accident before we were married. That knee is sensitive to weather and other changes.

Chuck changed his meds so that he is taking half at night and half in the morning (specialist told him to do this if he needed to). He was still having quite a bit of pain in the morning. This is the first morning since he changed it and he was much better this morning. I hope that it lasts.

NO NO NO!!!!

I am saying this is like the planning for my wedding. We planned for a year and it took FOREVER!!!!!

When I get a minute to think I might have questions for Minnie. Does she have everything she needs? Did Mickey get her a wedding gift yet? Did Minnie get Mickey a gift yet? What about a bridal shower for Minnie? And is Chuck takeing Mickey out for a wild night of fun before the wedding day? Who will be the DD for the boys night out?
What wedding favors has Minnie picked out? Did she order her flowers yet? WHat about gifts for the bridemaides and groomsmen? Did the get their parents a gift? Parents always get a gift of some kind. And who will be signing? Does Minnie have the something old, new, barrowed and blue?

I know I missed some the last few days, but I am now worried Minnie doesn't have enough time and then again Dec is just so far away for us to wait. This planning is killing me. I need to seek out help for the stress this has caused me. :rotfl:
Maybe Clare can send her a six pence for her shoe.

Lucikly, I didn't say anything to Terra about doing something. Then there could have been real trouble. She's already a little upset with me because I said that we couldn't go ride the horses at Disney World today.

Vicki - I think there might be a Yuletide Fantasy Theme park tour going on at that time too if your interested in the decorations. :teeth:

There are tree lighting ceremonies at Epcot and MK. The Epcot one is a little show and gets crowded so get there early. I don't know much about the MK one. The MGM and AK parades are decorated for the holiday. I don't remember if MK was as well. The AK parade also changes up the music a little to include the holiday. It's called Jammin' Jingle Parade then. As for resorts, GF is supposedly one of the best and the Epcot Deluxe resorts have gingerbread displays as well.

So BCV, BWV and OKW have no studio availability for Marathon weekend - so we need to figure out what we want to do

chanon - the website still wont let me book for 2007 - do I have to call CRO - I hate calling there - some of the CMs are great but some are so high pressure!!!
Kate - Just call CRO...I just called and there is availability at OKW, V@WL, BWV, and for studios. (I don't think they were giving me any discounts...still "regular" price). I priced January 5th to the 9th...

Also I noticed on their website that some of the marathon has reached capacity and the big marathon is already at 60%! Wow!
