Hey all - popping in to say Hi

Tammi - :grouphug:

I think what Steffy meant when she said to make sure your lawyer was good - was to make sure he will get you all DVC points in any settlement!!! ;)

Amy - hoping the house sells this week!

Jen - Hoping the move is going well - did you wave when you passed my house?

Denise - I am so glad Rees is doing so great!!

Vicki - I hope things look up for Chuck soon!!

The festival was okay - not very crowded but my part went well! My knee is KILLING me!

Did I miss anything - probably - to be honest once I read about Tammi - everything else seemed fuzzy to me!! It is nice to see that when one of us hurts - the rest of us care so much!!!

Thanks for the translation Kate. Retain no lawyer who will not guarantee your DVC!!!

But seriously, you need the pit bull lawyer on your side. Things are going sweetly now. Just stack the deck in your favor by retaining the attack lawyer, who will keep his lawyer shaking in the corner making little puddles...

During even a reasonable divorce, someone gets filleted like a salmon. You don't want to be that person. You want the lawyer that toys with his lawyer like a skeen of yarn. And the beauty of it, if it is done well, he'll have to pay your lawyer's fees.... :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :dance3:

But the viper needs to be on your retainer.... :surfweb: pirate: pirate: :goodvibes :goodvibes

Gylnis this is so sad :guilty: Prayers for your dad & family :grouphug:

Well, this must be the day for bad news. I just got off the phone with my dad. His cousin, and best friend, committed suicide this morning. "Uncle" Richard never married, was eccentric (that's the nicest way to put it), and didn't really have any friends other than one sister and my family. Recently, he "decided" he had cancer. However, he never got it diagnosed by any doctor. He'd been making cryptic remarks about "taking care of the problem", but we thought we'd talked him out of it.

Hope you have a wonderful time :sunny:

Well, it's off to bed for me now! I've finished up all the laundry and packing for our camping trip tomorrow. We'll be gone until Saturday afternoon. I'll try to check in tomorrow morning, and I'll definitely check in Saturday night.

Until then, :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: for Tammi! These next few days will be rough, and I'm just sick that I won't be here for you. Please know that I'll be thinking about you all the time, and praying for you and the kids each and every day!

To the rest of you: Hold down the fort, and take care of each other! Love ya, all!

Enjoy your trip!!! We'll keep the campfires burning..... (can you tell I've lost my mind and need to go to bed)

Nitey, nite DDA!!! :surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb:

Hello to everyone

We had a great day at my brother's house for my nephews birthday. We are back home and just ordered pizza and calling it a day. I hope everyone else had a great Sunday. The weather here in Hot Atlanta was around 90 degrees.

Lynn
Lynn, That would be why it is affectionately referred to as Hotlanta, not hot Atlanta. :rotfl: :rotfl2: Can't you tell I made too many road trips, from Orlando to Atlanta when I was in college. I really need to make a trip back sometime as I really want to see the new aquarium. But it is no longer 7 hours, more like 13 each way and I can't justify that as a weekend road trip.

Although in college I used to have Orlando to Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia weekend road trips. Drive all night stay at a hotel, go to a football game stay drive back or drive all night go to a football game stay overnight at a hotel and drive back. But these were on a bus and I wasn't driving. Let's just say I took tons of road trips in college and miss them immensely. I don't mind the driving but I don't have the weekends anymore, as I work just about everyone.

It's amazing how little merchandise there is for Donald! We spent so much time looking for stuff for Jacob and there was nothing! No wonder Donald is always so cranky! He truly gets no respect!
When I worked at Disney World, I worked in Merchantainment at the All Star Resorts. The only stuffed Donald Duck we had in the store was on the displays at the top of the walls. These were put together by a private company and we weren't even allowed to dust them, touch them etc as the company would come in and clean them and do what they wanted with them.

We had so many people who wanted to buy the Donald Duck from off of these displays, some people were willing to pay $50++ to buy the Donald on the display because there kids desperately wanted one and we had to refuse to sell it to them as we didn't own the displays they were owned by that company. I guessed that when the display was set up they sold a plush Donald, but the display hadn't been updated in so long that they didn't have what was currently sold on display.

I guess this morning, he decided he didn't want to be a burden to anyone (as if), so he went to the cemetery with his shotgun, and shot himself. My dad is really shaken up, and is now blaming himself. I tried to tell him that uncle Dick made the choice to end his life, and there was nothing more that any of us could have done. We've opened our homes and hearts to him for the last 76 years, but in the end, it was his decision. It's cold comfort for my dad, though.

I hate to see dad going through this. It was just last year that he lost his sister to cancer. He's really having a hard time. If you could add him to your prayers, I'd be grateful.

Thanks for letting me share this.

Sending hugs, prayers and pixie dust to you and your whole family, especially your Dad.

Hi all. I just scanned in the autograph pages I made for my co-worker who's going to WDW late September. I had to start all over again as the ones I made for our December trip were lost in the hard drive crash. Some of them would not print out in this format correctly (Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Eeyore and Tigger - Piglet didn't print quite right, either), but there's plenty for you to get the idea. I borrowed Kate's four parks design to use on the inside cover page. The pages are actually set up so that there's 1/2 inch of white on the left side for punching holes to place the pages in the 5 x 7 scrapbook. Hope you like them!
Very cute pages. :) :artist:

The weather here in Cincinnati SUCKS!!!!

It rained or drizzled all day yesterday and the worst part is - it is FREEZING!! It only got to about 65 yesterday (that might be generous) and I could see my breath at the festival!!! It was not very crowded! Hopefully more people will come today but the weather isn't much better - just no rain - although it might storm later

Could someone let Mother Nature know it is summer?
I hope you got some :sunny:. It has been crazy weather here too.

Late April, early May. Great weather. Low crowds. Most of the attractions are open. I just love May....

I love May, too. The weather has been perfect every time that we have gone in May. The crowds are moderate and very easy to deal with. I would suggest early-mid May. As you get later in the month, there are more school groups and the crowds pick up.

We are back from Holland MI! Had a blast! I'll post pics when I can get them uploaded into Photobucket. My "almost" nephew is getting SO BIG! He'll be a year on July 18th. The boys went to Chicago for a White Sox/Indians baseball game, and the girls (and nephew) went to the mall shopping. I found my nephew this adorable onsie outfit, red with hawaiian flowers with Goofy surfing on the back! He wore it to the beach on Sunday.

Forgive me if I missed anyone!

Denise - You know I'm biased here, but don't forget to check AAA when the info comes out. If you book a cruise in January which is Disney Month with AAA, you'll get extra stateroom credit on top of the stateroom credit you get for being an AAA member. Let me know when you get your "mail"; it should come UPS. The kids are adorable on their bikes!

Claire - Thanks for the info on Tivo and the Product Search! I have the Canon a610 and just LOVE IT!

Glynis - Sounds like you had a blast! :grouphug: for your Dad and you :grouphug:

Tammi - :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Jennifer - Welcome back! :wave2: Can't wait to read your cruise report and pics!

Ok..since it took me an hour to catch up, I REALLY have to get ready for work!

:grouphug: :wizard: :grouphug: :wizard: for everyone I might have missed!
