Hi! I just ran downstairs to the library (they have internet). John is upstairs with Rees. He is doing awesome and hasn't needed any pain meds! He's walked around once, been up twice to go potty. I'm amazed. They should be bringing him a grilled cheese sandwich pretty soon. Unless something happens, we should be home sometime tomorrow.

Gotta run as others need the computer. But Happy B'day to Delinda and Happy Anniversary to Vicki and Chuck.

Check with y'all later. Thanks for all the support and prayers!

Wow Denise!!! That is teh best possible news! He's doing better than expected! This is wonderful news! I'm so happy!!! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

I was over on the TPAS board and there was a thread about fanny packs. One woman suggested a $268 Coach bag so we wouldn't look dorky. I told her not everyone could afford $200-$300 for a bag to wear to a theme park, and if I could, I'd just hire someone to carry everything for me. Some people don't have a clue about the real world.

:lmao: :rotfl2: June, the way you said this just caught me as funny!!!! I agree with you 100% but I loved the way you said it!

Good Evening Everyone,
I just wanted to stop by and say hello, well the
reception has come and gone, it turned out very nice and was a lot of work but I'm glad we did it, she deserved some recognition for all her hard work.
I'll post a few more pics later but here's one of my DD and grandson the night of the reception, as you can see I've been playing with the border idea from the other thread.

Debbie
Hi Debbie. Your DD and DGS are beautiful. I like what you did with the border. It really snazzes it up!

You're not busy, are you, Becky? :rolleyes1 :faint:
Never busy, just working and playing hard. :rotfl2: Although reccently it has been more work and not much play. But I have Saturday and Sunday off and plan to go see cars and go to Hersheypark and perhaps do some other fun stuff, before it is back to work. Although at some point in time I really do need to work on reorganizing my life, because the stuff is absolutely out of control. I have been trying to do fly lady stuff, just been very busy but I am trying to work on it a few minutes each day.

I gotta reorganize so I can get the Girl Scout stuff to storage and no longer occupying my space. It will help immensely, as our meeting site had no storage at all and I had to lug everything back and forth to meetings. Even having the Older girls will be better cause there is storage at the meeting location, they can plan there own stuff and it is half as often each month and if I can't show up my co-leader can run the show, and have a parent stay. :cool1:

Rees is out of surgery in recovery. The surgeon just came to talk to us. He took out the gallbladder with no problems. He also found a twisted piece of bowel that had adhered to the abdominal wall. We. Will get the pathology report on wed. Rees should come home tomorrow. PM went to surgery with Pooh bear and Rees. I'll update later.

Can someone post this on the disability board on my thread for Rees? Thanks.
Denice glad Rees surgery went well. Heres :wizard: that the pathologhty report is normal.

Hey guys!

Denise -- I'm thrilled to hear that Rees is doing so well and loved PM!

I'm sorry I didn't get to give you all an update sooner. With the first of my staff days running long, I had to race to pick up the boys, get Andrew dressed and out to his baseball game, and then fed and laundry started before I could sit down to catch-up and post.

My DH has an appt in the morning for another doctor visit. The redness in his arm hasn't spread anymore, and it has faded a little. The bad news is that the center of the bite has gotten more purple, but we won't know until tomorrow if that is a problem. Thanks for all the good wishes and prayers. I'm terrified and am not good at all this wait and see stuff.

June - you have no idea how I want to go post a picture on that thread of Kate and I with our matching tiedyed shirts, multi-colored crocs (with socks!), fanny bags, etc., asking "You mean like this?" :rotfl2:

Okay, I am on a roll. I figured I better post a picture of my youngest son even though his birthday was in January. I cannot find a pic of him at a younger age.

Hey cool decorations for real crocs and most of us probably already have some in our house.http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1130340

Speaking of Crocs, I saw these at my Hallmark, they used to just have the plain Crocs but they now have these.

They had several colors for each design, I think they had another design but I can't remember. I saw these about a week ago and forgot about them until Vicki's post reminded me.

They are called Funky Feet and are made by EJ Enterprises There are some pairs on EBAY, they have Funky Feet logos on the side where the black Croc logo would be so I don't think they are real crocs but I'm not sure. It didn't seem to me like they are painted on but it might be. I can't remember how much they cost at the mall but I can check when I go again.

I think it would be cool to paint your own with Disney designs.

I thought it wasn't for a while but your post sounded like it was soon, excited and all :goodvibes
This is how I ALWAYS am with Disney! Crazy arn't I?!? We are already planning our 2007 4 night cruise for next December. (Thank goodness for TA discounts!) Gotta love those hidden Category 7 "open" balconies! (Apparently there are some Navigator Verandahs that are actually open, but one corner is cut off from the way the ship is shaped...)
