They haven't found a place yet but looking in Littleton.

That's where I am!!!

Plenty of houses are available. Kind of expensive it's one of the more expensive suburbs but our schools are WONDERFUL and we are close enough to everything to be happy but far enough away that it's not like living in a city.

If he needs help just pm me and let me know!!

I have a feeling Bill won't have the surgery until the knees completely collapse..which by the way I think is an awful .so instead of elective surgery...you are now having emergency surgery!

julia & nicks mom said:
It is always so hard to make the decision to have elective surgery b/c you know the risks involved. When Bill decides to have the surgery I will pray that for him and for strength for you during it!!!

Keep it down tonight, will ya ladies (and gents)? I'm off to book club. This months book was The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. I really enjoyed it. I'll check in tomorrow, but I don't know how much time I'll have. I have to run errands all day tomorrow to get ready for our trip. I'm even trying to work in a haircut. We'll see how it goes!

Have a great evening!

ooohh I have that one in my bookcase in the to be read pile... I might have to read it soon now you've said its good :thumbsup2

Ok, DDAs -- I'm off to bed soon, but if I could request a few prayers that would be great! My test could use a few, but that's really less concerning than all the other stuff I have to get done before bedtime tomorrow. We have some things to take care of before we leave, but some involved parties aren't really cooperating enough to allow me to set sail stress free. :guilty:

I'm sorry I can't provide more details, but God knows what's up.... and maybe Tinkerbell does too? :confused3 ;)

Nothing is wrong with any of us.... in fact, there is nothing but good stuff going on in our lives (well, after about noon tomorrow ;) ) -- there are just a few things that have to fall into place before we leave and are unable to be contacted without $7.00/minute phone calls!

I plan on checking in tomorrow and/or Saturday, but if not then I'll talk to you soon!

Maybe I didn't miss you - hope you get this :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: before you leave :wizard:

Please pray for Phil right now. I don't know what is going on as I'm at work, but he sounds like he is on the verge of a total breakdown. It is being caused in part because some combination of the high calcium and Vitamin D they had him taking has been keeping him so drowsy for over a week that he can barely function. Now he seems to have come to the end of his rope over these feelings. Luckily, he is of good enough mind that he has made an appointment for this afternoon with a psychologist. For now, I just need him to get himself and Terra into the city and to me safely. He won't be driving so there isn't a danger there, but they can get to me faster than I can get to them and I think time is of the essence as too relieve as much stress as possible as soon as possible. He has asked me to go to the doctor with him so hopefully I can help convey what has been going on lately if he can't. Thank you for any prayers and pixie dust you can spare as this is all a little scary.

I'm just now seeing this -- prayers to Phil and to you and Terra! :wizard: :wizard:

Clare -- you didn't miss me! I've just been busy. We'll leave tomorrow! :thumbsup2

Tammi -- thanks for the advice. I think we have everything accessible.... hopefully anyway. I'll provide some pictures, details, etc when we get back.

Kate -- thanks again for meeting me. I'm really excited about having the ears in time!

We're checked in for our flight! Woohoo! I thought this day would never come :rotfl:

Hey everyone! Thanks to my FANTASTIC husband, I had a few minutes to catch up!!

The NCLEX is done at least  I'm pretty torn on it. I mean, I think I passed for one (fairly safe assumption) reason. It cut off at 75 questions. You can most certainly fail in 75 questions, but I'm told it gives you the beneft it of the doubt and lets you keep testing until you REALLY prove you're incompetent if tha'ts the case. Most people that stop at 75 pass. However..... the questions sucked. You know when you get something narrowed down to two choices and guess? Well that was like 70 of the 75 questions :rotfl: It didn't take an hour even though, so that was nice. I'll let you all know when I find out (in the next few days).

As far as the other thing going on, DDA prayers are reigning it in a bit anyway. Continued thoughts would be greatly appreciated, but I feel confident enough to at least tell you what's up, with one thing happening already this morning!

In mid-May ..... we bought a house!!! I didn't mention it here because of all the bumps we hit along the way with the mortgage. I was terrified something else was going to go wrong, so I didn't really want to focus on it much (anymore than I already was IRL). Even until today, we hadn't got a straight answer on our closing information. Pretty much, people are stupid. When we set a closing target date (June 9th), it was suggested by the people involved, knowing darn well about our trip. Now all of a sudden they are freaking out that we won't be accessible up until the day before.... so I'm a little nervous.

We did finally hear this morning that we have an appointment set up for the 9th at 10:00am. My mortgage guy was working his butt off to have everthing finalized a week early (today) so that he would not have to contact us at all during the cruise (and make us spend even more money and time trying to communicate via email). We're still waiting on his call, but I know he's doing his best. And the financing was preapproved, so there shouldn't be any problems... but it will be nice to know it's 100% completed and awaiting our return.

So I'm supposed to have my entire house packed, plus the cruise stuff (and hope they don't get mixed up), plus take this test this morning, take my sister's homeschool team to their Olympic day (which thankfully got rained out and rescheduled  ) so I was pretty much pulling my hair out yesterday.

But while I was gone, Kyle got up early and packed virtually EVERYTHING here for the house!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's great :teeth: So I have a few errands to run, and need to double check the cruise stuff, but then I should be all set.

So if you want to continue praying, just pray that we have no surprises waiting for us when we come back. It's still a little scary knowing that we come back less than 12 hours when we're supposed to meet, and who knows what could happen before then!!!! We're pretty thrilled about the house though.

So that's that. I'll check in again either later tonight or tomorrow morning before we leave. Talk to you then!

Jennifer -- that is FANTASTIC news! I know living with family and not having a home to go to after graduation was weighing heavily on you.

WTG Dr. Kyle! What a great thing to come home to.

My prayer for you and Kyle is :sunny: skies, smooth sailing, great weather and relaxation and no problems on your return!

Everyone have a great weekend and I will check back in later. Right now I need to finish up work and then head to the swim meet. Send me PD for dry weather......even though it is forcasted for 70% PM thunderstorms.

Have a blast!

I've always wanted to go on a cruise but don't know quite what to expect. Not sure Chuck would enjoy it so it has stopped me pursuing it. I need to know what kinds of things are available on board and what kinds of things you do when you dock at the different locations. I also need to know how expensive the extras are on shore. I had told Chuck before that I wanted to go on one for our 25th anniversary which is next year but I'll have to research it more.

I'm off to take Becky to the eye doctor to get her glasses adjusted and then drop her off at a friends for the week-end. Chuck & I are going camping tomorrow morning with just the two of us but we'll also have the house to ourselves tonight. However, I'm not sure how that is going to go as we are not speaking to each other right now. Sure hope that we start speaking before our anniversary on Monday! :confused3

Vicki -

there is SO much to do - and you can make the extras as expensive or as cheap as you want!!!

I hear the April 28 Magic next year would be a great time to cruise!!!!!!!!! ;)

What you need to do is download the navigator - and here is how I look at it - if worse comes to worse - they have a sports bar!! ;)

I just got to see Jennifer for just a few minutes

and I have to tell you all - that was one happy, calm and relaxed girl!!!

Jennifer - you just seemed to me like you had the weight of the world lifted off your shoulders!!!

I hope you and Kyle have an AMAZING time - I know you have both worked SO hard for this and you truly deserve an awesome vacation!!!!

Say hi to Mickey for me and tell him I am sorry about the whole knocking his head off thing!! ;) and have a drink for me!!!!

What is the navigator? Is the April 28 cruise the one you are going to be on? That's Chuck's birthday! I could make it a birthday/anniversary cruise.

It's a world of laughter, a world of tears.
It's a world of hopes and a world of fears.
There's so much that we share that's it's time we're aware,
It's a small world after all.

It's a small world after all,
It's a small world after all,
It's a small world after all,
It's a small, small world.

There is just one moon and one golden sun,
And a smile means friendship for everyone,
Though the mountains divide and the oceans are wide,
It's a small world after all.

It's a small world after all,
It's a small world after all,
It's a small world after all,
It's a small, small world.
