Denise – I wish I could hug you and then down a bottle of wine with you. I can’t, but what I want you to do right now is turn around and hug the chair… There… did you feel the hug I sent via the computer chair? Ok now, if you don’t have wine then get whatever drink you want and wait…wait… wait…. Ok I have one now. Take a drink on three…. THREE. Good, now I have hugged you and had at least one drink with you.

Ellen -some how I missed your post, but I will keep you in my prayers. A bit of PD for your new job and moving.

Theresa -- tell Cassidy congrats from me on her band's accomplishments. That is terrific!

Jennifer -- thanks for the link to the furniture... fun to look through!

I have a proud Mom moment to share too. As you know, Kristin (DD19) is a theatre performance major in college. Every spring the entire department is required to audition for the following semester's Main Stage productions. This is a highly competitive time as they only do 4 shows a year on that stage and there are about 150 performance majors vying for those casts.

The plays being produced next semester are "The Nerd" (a comedy) and "Medea" (... not a comedy ;) )

Kristin assumed that if she was to be cast she would win a role in the comedy since that is one of her strengths. Well... guess what... ::yes:: ... you got it... she is in "Medea." She was cast as one of the Chorus.

The director is a Visiting Artist from the Royal Shakespeare Company who is quite young and a little out of the box, so Kristin is more enamored with the production now. The callbacks were rigorous and she is fascinated by the tack this director is taking so far. The role of Medea will be played by a very talented hearing impared grad student. She will sign her lines and they will be interpreted in the spoken word. I cannot wait to see it!

I am so proud of Kristin and her hard work to get this part and am looking forward to watching her grow as an actor through this new opportunity. If I could, I would buy all the available tickets and invite you all to Tammi's house to stay so you could be there for opening night.... :rotfl2:

Congratulations to Kristin.... and thanks for sharing your proud moment! That is really exciting! :goodvibes

Oh it was great!!! I went to my DS's school this afternoon & it couldn't have gone better. I brought my little DD with me since she only has half day preschool. So I meet the teacher in the hall. We walked to the room & she stands at the door & tells the kids that they have a special treat today..2 secret readers! I walk in with & my son jumps up yelling "Mommy, Mommy!" & comes running to hug me & my DD.

I read the story to the kids & they really listened well. I always wanted to be an elementary school teacher so things like this put me in my glory. Anyway, after the story I told the kids that I brought cauliflower for them all & they all laughed & went "ewww" but then I brought out the goody bags with fun stuff & candy & they all said "you tricked us" & laughed. They were all so cute. My DS got to hand them out to his classmates & I could tell he was really proud to do so. He got a special sticker from the teacher & he was all smiles. He said "You are such a good mommy, that I couldn't make a mommy better than you". :faint: I was in tears. Some days that little boy can drive me to the nuthouse  but he was just so sweet today.

Thanks for asking.

That sounds like fun!! What a great concept for the teacher to come up with. How sweet was your little boy? Those comments make up for the times we wanna strangle them!!

I find it amusing that my Dis Name has created so much converstaion. If I used the first two letters of what everyone knows me by it would have been BeAnSt, it just doesn't look right or work as well in my mind. :confused3

So is posting in different colors better than different fonts? Who was I driving nuts w/ the different fonts?

Vicki - have your broken in your Airwalks yet? Do you love them???

I've worn them everyday since I got them but today because I had a meeting at a State Police post and I didn't think they were appropriate. I was going to say they didn't go with the rest of the outfit - but who am I kidding - they don't go with any outfit but I don't care! I absolutely love them!!!!! Thanks.

Happy Birthday Heidi, I hope you had a good day.

Make sure you take good care of yourself and our little princess.... have you discussed names??
Yes and we don't agree. He got mad at me the other day, though, and said I could have my name. I don't want it that way, so when things slow down a bit here I'll bring the subject back up again.

It didn't drive me nuts but I did wonder what made you choose the different sizes, etc. that you did. I love the color.

Paula -- I'm not going to be the one that posts because we don't have a laptop! But I think Kate will bring hers -- but they are staying in another room. SO I doubt I'll even know what they say until we get back. So before I go, here is my disclaimer:

I didn't do it -- I didn't mean it -- don't believe everything they write -- I'm innocent I tell ya!

Yeah right. ;) :teeth:

When we were at Payless they had the knockoff croc flip flops(my daughter blushes  whenever I say thongs) and for flip flops they didn't feel too bad. But I still hate the feeling of something between my toes.

Kinda makes you wonder when you are already coming up with a disclaimer and you haven't even gotten there yet. This should be some trip report!!!!!

This made me think of you, Denise. I just saw a thing on the news about a family from New Brunswick, NJ. They have two year old triplets, they just had another set of triplets. Both sets were both conceived naturally. Those parents have my kudos.
