Kate and Denise - much PD to you and your little ones. Not being able to help them is one of the hardest tasks a parent must endure, I think.

Denise - sorry to hear about your DH's car. Mine died on the way home from work this morning and our news is not good... it will cost close to $1400 to repair it! Unfortunately we just sent the last payment on Kristin's college bill. That $1400 is going to be hard to come by....

Lindsay - glad your old assistant is willing to come help you out over the summer.

Jen - congrats on finishing your junior year. And I am sorry you have to worry so much about your friend. That is a sad story.

I suppose I am missing something very important in this all-encompassing post, but I am having the same problems that Tammi is with the DIS today/tonight. It continually does not want to load. Maybe it is Cox????

I am so excited!

Of course, this means i will havemoe free time, although i start summer classes may 22--i just keep telling myself that its all soi graduate on time..they announced our graduation date--may 11, 2007..

So now hopefully ill be back here alot more..i have missed coming here!

Our family friend is not doing very good at all. They just found that her liver is surrounded my tumor and have said that they are now just tryingto keep her comfortable...so its been rough lately...and doesnt look like its getting any better

Yay!!!! for the semester being over! I know what a relief that is!

So if you can't tell by my awesome signature Kate made, Splash Mountain is one of my favorite rides. Song of the South, the movie it is based on has not been released on Video or DVD for many years. It was originally released in November of 1946, last time in the theatres was 1985.

Why am I wasting your time with these random facts, Saturday Night live had a Disney sketch and it was part of it. Check it out here

So I have a rather large bur up my ---- where the sun doesn’t shine. My day started fine, I got out of bed a bit late, posted a pic of Tyra the dog and off to school we went. No problem.

Then I got back home and started some embroidery and I got my thumb under the screw that holds the needle. That hurt like a banchie and I broke the skinny little needle. (&^(&^)%*&_+_%#$#!) Ok, it hurt I have a nice pretty indent in my thumb as well as skin missing, but I will be ok.

Off to sew down a few things and what does this not so smart female do? For the love of Pete! (side note… Why do we want Pete to love us? Or why do we love Pet? I don’t know any Pete, but for some reason I have a love for him. Anyone else have this question?) She put the SAME thumb under the ()*&%$@ screw of this )*&^*&$^^@ machine. Two different machines and I do the same &O^*&$$#! thing to the same thumb.

And the rest of the day I had dim-witted things happen left and right.

I want to drink heavily, but I have nothing in this dwelling.

Have you all seen the breaking news on Mission Space? I may actually be able to ride it now. I like that they aren't changing the ride for those that want to ride it in the original form but am thrilled that they are giving me a way to ride it.

I had this idea, after the first time I rode it, when they had soft opening. It is a lot less intense now than when they did soft openings. I think this is long overdue after the issues they have had.

I am calling our Pediatrician tomorrow for the referral to the other doctor and will make an appointment with him ASAP. I will also ask for the written reports on the tests this weekend. I have now heard from 3 of my friends who use the same GI doc. They have all switched as he is so conservative and doesn't take stuff as seriously as they'd like. John said I am NOT over reacting. He said if the doc had seen Rees that night, he would be singing a different tune.

Anyway, taking John to the car rental place on our way to school. Then school (less than 4 weeks left and then they go to Kindergarten. My kiddos are getting so big), then ballet (BK's recital is June 2), then off to our last night of choir and dinner. Kids have a big performance tomorrow night for all the parents and church members. I get to do lead Head-Shoulders-Knees-Toes in front of about 300 people. should be fun.

So I won't be back until tomorrow late. Kate, good luck and sending you prayers for the CT. Rees and BK have both had one (about the same age as Nick). Once they drank the syrup stuff and got sleepy, it wasn't bad. I know you're scared. I'll be saying a prayer for you and Nick around noon. Call me on my cell if you need to talk.

I know I'm not doing a good job of keeping up today. So sending love, hugs, prayers, congrats, hi, and all that jazz to my home girls in the DDA. Love y'all!

That's great! I am sure a lot of people will appreciate that, because the ride is a fantastic concept!

Personally, I'm really glad they aren't changing the original form but adding a new one... but I won't get started on my soapbox about that one

I really think it's a great option though so everyone can ride it 'together' whichever way they prefer (even if not in the same pod, etc)

Why is it that there have to be so many negative people on these boards? There are others knocking people for wanting to ride MS without the centrifuges. Did I question them on why they would be stupid enough to risk their health to ride something that makes a good percentage of people sick? No, if it makes them happy, I say let them go for it but don't question me on why I would want to ride it the tame way when I know that I would be sick for the rest of the day!
